This box was jam packed with goodies!
The Winter 2016 Beautycon Box was curated by Dulce Candy and included the following items:
~ColourPop Lippie Stix in BeautyCon Pink ($5): This lippie was developed just for Beautycon! It’s a pink’ish / brown and is very wearable. ColourPop makes great products for their price points.
~Skinvolve Beauty Karate Cream ($39.99): This cream has Pure Caffeine and Argan Oil to moisturize, improve skin texture and tone. The caffeine is supposed to help boost circulation while the argan oil has anti-aging and hydrating properties. It felt great on my skin – not greasy at all, and it smelled nice. If it smooths out my skin down the road all the better.
~Luxie Beauty Highlighter Brush ($24): This brush is 100% Cruelty-free and 100% Vegan. It’s very soft and a makeup bag essential.
~Ali & Jay $50 Gift Card: The Ali & Jay gift card is valid for $50 off a $100 or more order. Ali & Jay sells cute holiday/party dresses. However, since you do have to spend money to use this coupon, I am not going to include it in the value of the box.
~Biobelle Botanic Fiber Facial Mask ($5): This mask is parabens free, gluten free and non-GMO. It made my skin smoother and softer right away.
~Artist Couture Illuminati Highlighter (2.35g) ($10.57): I get a lot of makeup in subscription boxes, but this highlighter really stood out to me. The color barely there and it’s just a perfectly gorgeous shimmer. I can’t say enough good things about this. I’m totally blown away.
~Kate Somerville Exfoliating Treatment (15mL) ($24): Yes, you read that right. This little sample is $24! That’s because it’s just that amazing. It polishes your skin and helps with dullness, dark spots and uneven skin tone. I have always had great results with this and love when it pops up in a subscription box.
~L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Feline Mascara ($7.99) & L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Primer ($4.48): Mascara primer is designed to make your lashes look longer and thicker once mascara is applied. It’s an extra step in your makeup routine, but I could tell the difference. It’s not something I would take the time to use daily, but for nights out or special occasions, I would for sure use it.
~Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer (2.5g) ($7.50): This bronzer is a tad too dark for me personally, but I have a friend who will love it. In fact, she was just talking to me about how she loved the last Too Faced bronzer I gave her. It smells like chocolate which is an added bonus!
~Rimmel London Lipstick (Listen Up) ($6.99): I received this in “Listen Up” which is what I would describe as a hot pink, but a variety of shades were sent out. I’m not a big fan of the color, but the formula was great. It’s long lasting and glided right on.
~Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water (3.4oz) ($2.25): This is an “all-in-1” product. It removes makeup, cleanses and soothes at the same time. It’s gentle, but it works!
All totaled I came up with a value of $137.77 for the Winter 2016 Beautycon Box. That’s an incredible value for a $36/box and I am very happy. I wasn’t over the moon about the last box, but this one made up for that!
