~Welcome Kit: Your first Cultured Owl includes a Welcome Kit. The Welcome Kit features a passport, an inflatable globe to help keep track of your adventures.
~Country Booklet & Items: I received Australia as my first Country Kit. All kits include the country’s flag, a booklet with some facts about the country and the Australia included a boomerang and a recipe for Aussie Meat Pie (we have yet to try that).
The booklet includes various facts about Australia including animals found there, popular names, languages spoken in the country, etc.
~Stained Glass Coral Reef: I am saving a few of these subscription box crafts for cold winter days and this is one I am most excited about. My 4-year-old is super excited about this one and I can’t say I blame him. It’s going to be so pretty.
~Aboriginal Cave Drawing: The box also included instructions and materials for Aboriginal Cave Drawings. We tried this one and ours didn’t turn out too well. Then again it probably wasn’t easy to draw on a cave well either, so maybe we nailed yet?
~Dot Art Didgeridoo: A didgeridoo is a wind instrument developed by Indigenous Australians. Cultured Owl probably couldn’t include actual instruments, but these are close. It’s another project we are saving for a cold winter day! Anything with paint is always a hit! I can’t imagine that either of my boys will be patient enough for this, but we’ll have fun trying.
