GLOSSYBOX Limited Edition Holiday Box Review

My GLOSSYBOX Limited Edition Holiday Box has arrived!  GLOSSYBOX is a monthly beauty subscription box and includes five luxury surprise beauty items shipped to your door.  Every once in a while (typically for Mother’s Day and around the holidays) they offer a limited edition box.  This review is on the 2016 Holiday Limited Edition Box.  It was a one-time purchase of $40 ($30 for subscribers) and is separate from their monthly subscription.

The GLOSSYBOX Limited Edition Holiday Box shipped via FedEx Smart post and took about a week to arrive.

GLOSSYBOX Limited Edition Holiday Box has the most gorgeous packaging.  These boxes are great to store products or to use as gift boxes.

This box was jam packed!

The GLOSSYBOX Limited Edition Holiday Box included the following items:

~NutraLuxe MD Retro Brow – Prime + Extend Duo ($29.99): This duo primes and amplifies the appearance of your eyebrows.  The primer is tinted as are the fibers.  I have never used a product like this and made a bit of a mess with the fibers. LOL!  I need a little more practice with this to get my brows looking natural like models shown online, but I think it’ll happen.

~Skin & Co. Truffle Therapy Cleansing Oil (Full-Size) ($30): This truffle oil can be used as a makeup remover and / or a cleanser.  It’s free from parabens, phthalates, and mineral oils and made my skin so soft.  The ingredients do separate, so you need to lightly shake the bottle before use.

~Babor #Masterpiece Ampoule Set ($38): This set includes 4 Hydra Plus Active Fluid vials and 3 Active Night vials.  The ampoules are glass and the set also includes a little plastic tool to break the vials to use.  It took me a minute to figure out what the tool was, but it made the experience even more fun.  So far I have been happy with these.  I could see an improvement just by using the Night Active Fluid a few times.

~Bad Medina “Like No Other” Invested Shimmer Lipstick ($18): Like No Other is a ” warm, rose gold hue” with just a hint of gold shimmer.  It’s gorgeous.  Not even kidding, this makes me want to wear lipstick.  It’s also moisturizing and has beautiful packaging.

~dome BEAUTY Diamond Shadow (Stone) ($29): This is named “Stone,” but it doesn’t look like any stone I’ve come across.  It’s a deep shimmery almost maroonish color.  It’s highly pigmented, so you don’t need a ton to make a statement.

~Figs & Rouge Avancé+ Lumiére C+ Dark Spot Corrector (30mL) ($41.40): This gel targets imperfections & uneven pigmented areas of skin tone.  It’s lightweight and felt nice on my skin. However, I think it’s way too soon to see a difference.

All totaled I came up with a value of $186.39 for the GLOSSYBOX Limited Edition Holiday Box. That’s a fantastic value for a $30 (subscriber price) / $40 box.  I am thrilled with this and think GLOSSYBOX does such a great job with their limited edition boxes.

The GLOSSYBOX Limited Edition Holiday Box is still available!  If you are interested in purchasing, you can pick one up here.
