Play! by Sephora has been doing box variations these past few months (similar to ipsy) and it’s always fun to open it up and see what I received.

My December 2016 Play! by Sephora included the following items:

~Lancôme HYPNÔSE DRAMA Instant Full Body Volume Mascara (0.135fl.oz) ($3): This mascara is designed to give you great volume with just one stroke.  It’s not clumpy and made my lashes it look.  It also dried quickly which I was thrilled about.

~Make Up For Ever Step 1 Smoothing Primer (0.16 fl oz) ($5.92): This primer “balancing the skin’s texture and tone for smoother, more even, and longer-lasting makeup wear”.  I’ll tell you what, sometimes I just like to wear primer alone.  It gives great coverage and hides pores without looking like you’ve done too much.

~Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo (0.8 fl.oz) ($7.15): I just had a friend ask me about this shampoo!  It works amazing, but the scent is STRONG.  Like, be ready for this.  I don’t hate it though because there are times (like after you leave a bonfire or go to a smoky bar/casino) that you need something like this.

~Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray (0.5 fl.oz) ($7.50): This spray helps keep your makeup in place – no matter what.  It’s lightweight and doesn’t feel like you’ve added anything to your face at all.  It’s oil-free and paraben-free, and I consider this a summertime staple!

~Sephora Cream Lip Stain (0.04 fl oz) ($3.31): This stain is long-lasting and moisturizing, but way too bold for me personally.  I wish I could pull off a red lip, but I just don’t think I can.

~Elizabeth & James Nirvana Bourbon (0.07 fl.oz) ($3.50):  Nirvana Bourbon is a blend of vanilla bourbon, oakwood, and a hint of tuberose.  It’s a “sultry” scent and in’t what you think of when you find out that this scent is by Ashley and Mary-Kate Olson.

All totaled I came up with a value of $30.28 for my December Play! by Sephora box.  Play! is awesome!  I am always thrilled my boxes, and the value is outstanding.
