POPSUGAR Must Have Mini ships via FedEx Smart Post (out of California) and took over a week to arrive to me.
I peeked at the spoilers for this one so long ago that I almost forgot what was in it.
The December 2016 POPSUGAR Must Have Mini Box included the following items:
~Yellow Owl Workshop Festive Rubber Stamp Kit ($19.50): This set includes:
- 2 1″ x 1″ (2.5 x 2.5 cm) ink pads for stamping on paper – black and neon pink
- 10 natural color rubber stamps mounted on premium quality wood
The stamps can be used a variety of ways from scrapbooking to making your own cards / wrapping paper to using in your planner. The stamps are large enough that they aren’t messy to hold / use and the ink pads got just the right amount of ink on the stamper. They are on the pricey side (at least for me) though. The quality is better than the $3 sets I buy in the One Spot at Target, but I’m not sure how fancy I need my stamp sets to be?
~Smith & Cult 1972 Rose Gold Nail Polish ($18): 1972 is described as an “Opaque Rose Gold Foil”. It’s stunning. It’s absolutely stunning. In some lights it looks to be more of a rose / brown shade, but other times it’s a true rose gold. I think one coat of this could do the trick, but I am planning on two just to be sure.
All totaled I came up with a value of $37.50 for the December 2016 POPSUGAR Must Have Mini Box. The stamps were fun (a bit overpriced, but fun), but that polish makes this box more than worth it to me. I love Smith & Cult and that color is so beautiful and unlike anything I own.
