POPSUGAR Must Have Box ships via FedEx Smart Post and takes about a week to arrive. They seem to ship in batches (no idea if there is any rhyme or reason to the order they use) so some people get their boxes delivered before other people have gotten shipping notices.
This month’s box was heavy! And very securely wrapped.
The December 2016 POPSUGAR Must Have Box was inspired by “Giving * Snowy * Minimalist * Festive” and included the following items:
~Odeme Catchall ($44) + Ring Dish ($23): The catchall and the ring dish are made from luxurious porcelain. The catchall can be used for just about anything – in the kitchen, on your bathroom sink, next to your bed, etc. The is, of course, designed for rings, but it would work nicely for small office supplies (paper clips / binder) clips or even as a soap dish.
~BAUBLEBAR Snowfall Pendant (POPSUGAR Exclusive) ($28): This necklace is a POPSUGAR exclusive and can only be found in the December box. I must say, I am not a fan. I don’t mind the silver, but the style is just not my taste. I’m still thrilled with the Kendra Scott bracelet from last month’s box and will find someone to gift this necklace to who will enjoy it.
~MANE MESSAGE Date Night Bobby Pins ($10): Ohh, these are pretty! The set includes a glittery gold, a glittery silver and a pale pink. I recently got my hair cut (I cut about 6 inches off) and seem to have some crazy flyaways. These will keep them in place and look fancy doing it.
~WINKY LUX Lip Pill in Bunny ($14): “Bunny” is matte cranberry lipstick and is the perfect combination of red and pink. It’s Cruelty-Free ?, Paraben Free, Gluten Free and Made in the USA. It’s a fantastic holiday color and while it’s a little too bold for my personal preference I know a few friends who would love this.
~SISTERS’ GOURMET Baker’s Dozen Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix ($6.99): POPSUGAR has included an assortment of baking mixes over the years, but I think the chocolate chip cookie mixes are my favorite. Sisters’ Gourmet cookies are made in the USA and were billed as one of Oprah’s Favorite Things. The mix is supposed to yield 13 cookies and requires butter, egg white, and vanilla. I got just about 15 cookies out of my mix. They were good (and super easy to make), but nothing beats homemade ;).
~DESSANGE PROFESSIONAL HAIR LUXURY Color Restore Color Protecting Top Coat Serum ($11.99): This protects your color and brings shine to your hair. You only need a little bit (2-3 drops), and I found that it worked great. It smoothed my hair and added shine. It also smells amazing.
All totaled the December 2016 POPSUGAR Must Have Box had a value of $137.98. It was a mixed box for me. Some items I loved (the serum and the trays) and some items will end up in the gift pile as they just aren’t my taste (the lipstick / necklace). Still, POPSUGAR is my all-around favorite box, and I will always be crazy excited to see it in my mailbox every month.
