Yay!  My 2016 Neiman Marcus POPSUGAR Must Have Box is here!  It was on the porch waiting for me when I woke up today (my mailman has been dropping off big packages early in the morning lately), and I was thrilled to see it.

If you aren’t familiar with them, POPSUGAR Must Have Box is an exciting box full of fun, must-have picks across fashion, beauty, home decor, fitness, and more, which is delivered to your door on a monthly basis. Boxes include full-size products and premium items including tried-and-true classics, celebrity favorites, and brands consumers have yet to discover worth over $100! They also offer special edition boxes on a seasonal basis and once a year before the holidays, they offer a Neiman Marcus POPSUGAR Must Have Box! Just like last year’s box, this one was $250 and promised to include the ultimate luxurious collection of gifts (curated by Neiman Marcus Fashion Director Ken Downing and POPSUGAR Editor in Chief Lisa Sugar) to give and receive this season.

The Neiman Marcus POPSUGAR Must Have Box is available only through POPSUGAR this year (a few years back it had been available through Neiman Marcus as well) and shipped via FedEx Smart Post. I always think (wish) they’d ship this post FedEx Ground since it’s so much more expensive than other POPSUGAR boxes, but they don’t.

Everything in the Neiman Marcus POPSUGAR Must Have Box is individually wrapped and (for the most part) comes in its original packaging, so it’s easily giftable (and very fun to open).

The 2016 POPSUGAR Must Have x Neiman Marcus Box included the following treasures which are “just the right touch for thoughtful gifting – or for spoiling yourself”:

~Alexis Bittar Gold Crystal Studded Spur Lace Cuff ($195): This bracelet is much more delicate and much smaller overall than I was expecting.  My wrists aren’t overly large (or maybe they are), and this barely fit.  I probably could bend it a tad, but I was scared.  It’s gorgeous, though. It has gold and silver tones along with Swarovski crystals.  The details are beautiful, and I just need a fancy party to wear it to!

~Alice & Olivia Stace Face Zip Wallet ($198): I suspect not everyone is going to love this, but I am OBSESSED!  I have long been a “Stace Face” fan (see my Starbucks mug below) and will be using this wallet immediately.  The timing is perfect too because I needed a new wallet!  It has a zipper coin slot on the interior and lots of slots and pockets for your cards.

~Antica Farmacista Prosecco Scented Candle ($44): This candle smells incredible.  It’s described as a “crisp scent celebrating the sparkling effervescence of Prosecco and Champagne” and has notes of “satsuma citrus, muguet, apricot, passionfruit and sugared black currant.”  It sounds like it’d be very sweet, but I didn’t find that to be the case at all.  It’s a well-round scent and the leaf pattern on the vessel is classic and beautiful.

~Nima Oberoi Lunares Wishbone Bookends ($139): One thing you’ll notice with POPSUGAR is that they repeat brands.  We have received a few items from Lunares over the years with the latest being these bookends. These are not something I would ever pick out / purchase on my own (I don’t even own a pair of bookends), but they are very much growing on me.  They are large (10″ H; 3″ W; 5.25″ L), two-tone silver and gold and quite heavy. I think they will be a great decorative piece in my office.

~Le Metier de Beaute Lip Kaleidoscope in Lip L’Amour ($95): We received the Le Métier de Beauté Limited Edition Kaleidoscope Eye Kit (Pretty in Punk) in the 2013 Neiman Marcus Must Have Box and a lip one in this box!  The colors in here are beautiful and can be worn alone or together for a custom look.   The top two (the first and second from L to R in my swatches) had a bit of shimmer to them and were my favorites.

~Neiman Marcus Gift Card ($50): A gift card!  How can you go wrong with a Neiman Marcus gift card?  I am not 100% sure what I am going to use this $50 card on but may wait until after the holidays and see if I can snag some boots during their amazing after Christmas sale.

~Studmuffin Desserts Bleecker Street Brittle ($30): The final item in the box was a Studmuffin Bleecker Street Brittle.  It’s okay, but not my first choice for a snack (chocolate or cookies would be my pick).  My bucket was open when I unwrapped it, but this came bubble wrapped, so nothing spilled.  It did leave a lot of crumbs on the bottom of the bucket which may not be ideal if you are gifting.

All totaled the 2016 POPSUGAR Must Have x Neiman Marcus Box had a value of $751.  WOW!  That’s 3x the cost of the box which is amazing for any box.  Now, don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t have spent $750 myself on these items, but I am only with the $250. The box has seven pieces in it, which breaks down to just over $35 per item.  That wallet for $35?  Yes, please!!!!!
