1. What is your favorite Christmas / Holiday Cookie? Mine are, hands down, Hershey Kiss cookies. I don’t think there is really anything Christmas like about them, but they are amazing. And I really only make them at Christmas time. Spritz cookies are another holiday favorite of mine too. They are more of a pain to make than kiss cookies, but it’s worth it.
2. Are you done with your holiday shopping yet? I am NOT. Not at all. Every year I say I am going to get it done early and every year I wait till the last minute. B and I are going to go out Friday and knock off the rest of our list and get wrapping (I think wrapping is worse than shopping)! I’m not overly stressed though. It will all get done. It always does ;).

1. Mexican wedding cookie (or Russian Tea Cakes or whatever else you want to call them). Even though we don’t get snow here, there’s something about the fluffy little powdered sugar covered snowball looking things that screams Christmas to me.
2. Yes!! As of last night. I wanted a pair of earrings to go with the donation-in-her-name my favorite cousin requested but couldn’t find the perfect pair. Last night a friend posted some gorgeous jewelry she made and was selling and one pair was just exactly what I was looking for. I’ll pick those up tomorrow and be done! Yay!!
1. I make thick gingersnaps every year. Lots of them so I can freeze some. They are wonderful crumbled up on applesauce or with a cup of coffee. Kids have the flu right now but I do plan on making some spritz even if I do it after the holiday. Maybe New Years Spritz will be the new thing.
2. Shopping done. Now shopping for birthdays and snagged a beauty of a Vera Bradley bag to give my daughter as part of her graduation present. Her gift will be inside it. I’m so excited.
My favorite is a simple applesauce cookie that my grandmother made when I was a kid.. I finally found the recipe for them in her old recipe box and I’m making them this year… Hoping they turn out as good as when she made them 🙂
Yes, I am done….Just grabbed the last item a couple days ago.. Some Aloe Socks from Ulta to put in my mom’s stocking… She is always looking for socks and these had a really good review .. They are the ones from Earth Therapeutics.
