Birchbox Man ships via USPS (through Newgistics) and arrives within the first few days of the month or the last few days or the previous month.
Birchbox Man allows subscribers to select their Lifestyle Item for their box. This month’s options were: Naadam Cashmere Speer Beanie, W&P Enamelware Camp Mug Set or Ministry of Supply Smarter Dress Socks – 2 pair. If you don’t make a selection, Birchbox Man will make one for you based on your profile / preferences.
The February 2017 Birchbox Man included the following items:
~Anthony Algae Facial Cleanser (15mL) ($2.28): Since B is out of town I tested this on his behalf. It’s bright blue and smells fantastic. It’s gentle and moisturizing, and I really liked it! I also want to mention it’s paraben-free.
~CLEAN Black Leather Eau de Toilette for Men & CLEAN White Vetiver Eau de Toilette for Men (~$3): Black Leather is somewhat of a deep scent. It has main notes of bergamot and spicy black peppercorn, middle notes of juniper, spearmint, violet, and black orchid and base notes of musk, black leather, and amber. White Vetiver is a crisp grassy scent. I LOVE this one, and I can’t wait for B to get home and wear it!
~das boom Industries Everything Bar Soap West Indies (~$3): das boom is a subscription box favorite! This soap is in the West Indies scent, which is a dark and earthy island blend of bay rum, smoke, and dirt. It’s probably my favorite scent that das boom offers. I love it on B!
~Esquire 3-in-1 Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash (1fl.oz) ($1.25): I did not know that Esquire Magazine had a men’s product line! According to Birchbox, it launched in October 2016. This is a 3-in-1 Body Wash, Shampoo, and Conditioner. It smells good and would be nice for traveling.
~Ministry of Supply Smarter Dress Sock Bundle ($20): Socks! I didn’t make a lifestyle selection this month and let Birchbox Man pick for B. I probably wouldn’t have selected these socks, but I had to admit they are great. They are thicker than most “dress” socks and feature “moisture-wicking fabric, four-way stretch, dynamic ventilation, and cushioning.” I think B will love them.
All totaled the February 2017 Birchbox Man had a value of $29.53. I was surprised by the low value for this box. It wasn’t one of my favorite boxes, but I did like it.
