Erin Condren Seasonal Surprise Winter 2016 Subscription Box Review

The Erin Condren Seasonal Surprise Box is a new quarterly planning subscription box from Erin Condren.  It is filled with goodies to kickstart your planning season. Inside the box, you can expect to see new, exclusive, or classic accessories, stickers & more!  The box, which is now sold out, was a one-time purchase of $35 promised a value of $80+.

The Erin Condren Seasonal Surprise Box shipped via UPS Sure Post.  It started out with UPS and then was supposed to be delivered by USPS.  UPS happened to be in my area though so they ended up delivering this package.

Eek! An entire package full of planner goodies!  I have been using Erin Condren Life Planners for years and have always hoped they’d do a subscription, so I was all over this.

The Erin Condren Seasonal Surprise Box theme is “Winter of Wonder” and included the following items:

~Note Cards ($1.50/each): I have never tried the Erin Condren notecards, and I love them!  We received a Thank You Card, a St. Patrick’s Day Card and a Valentine’s Card.  They are much thicker and sturdier than I was expecting.  The box also included matching envelopes and coordinating stickers.

~Dare to Flair Pin ($8): Cute!  I don’t know how, but I am going to use this pin in my planner.  I may be able to somehow hook it to the coil of my planner and use it as a charm.

~Sticker Sheets ($6): I am not seeing these on the Erin Condren website, so I am thinking they are Seasonal Surprise Box exclusives! They fit EC planner pages perfectly (that’s a given), but they will also work with other planners.  You may need to cut them, but it’ll work.  My favorite is the long watercolor heart strip.  Perfect for your Valentine’s Day spread!

~Snap-In To Do List ($4): This snaps in and out of your planner to help you keep track of your To-Do list.  These work great with Erin Condren dry erase markers, but you can also use a Sharpie on them.  It dries super fast and to remove you just need an eraser (think like a pencil eraser).  Works amazing.

~Good to Go Scalloped Heart Labels ($12): Looks like I am going to have to send some Valentine’s out!  These are so cute and would be perfect for goodie bags!  Not school goodie bags though because I don’t think my boys would be okay with sending “Kisses” labels on their goodie bags.

~Colorful Dual-Tip Markers ($15): These markers are amazing (and would also work great on your dashboard).  The set includes magenta, dark orange, teal, cornflower, purple & black.  The colors are bold and will work nicely if you are writing ON stickers, but they will bleed thru your planner pages so keep that in mind before using them.

~Creative Color Coloring Book ($12): This coloring book has 35 sheets (70 pages) and is filled with gorgeous designs and inspirational quotes.  I thought that the markers included might work for the coloring book, but that was not the case.  LOL!  Both ends bled thru the pages.  It was worth a try, and I do love how they write ;).

~$25 Coupon Code: The final item in the box was a $25 Erin Condren gift code.  It’s good on everything and is valid thru 3.31.17!

All totaled I came up with a value of $86.50 for the Erin Condren Seasonal Surprise Box.  $25 of that was an EC Coupon Code, so really the rest of the items cost just $10.  AMAZING!

Did you get the Erin Condren Seasonal Surprise Box?  What’d you think? As I mentioned this box is sold out, but you can sign up to be notified when it comes back in stock (maybe for the Spring Box)!
