GLOSSYBOX is a monthly beauty subscription box and includes five luxury surprise beauty items shipped to your door.

GLOSSYBOX ships via USPS and generally boxes ship in the second half of the month. Sometimes it’s the last week of the month; sometimes it’s closer to the beginning of the month.

GLOSSYBOX packaging is fantastic.  Their boxes are sturdy, and I reuse them for lots of things.

GLOSSYBOX does do variations in their boxes (usually, all subscribers will receive 2-3 of the same items) and you never know what you’ll get until you open up your box!

The January 2017 GLOSSYBOX included the following items:

~Secret Flush Soothing Cream Blusher & Lip Stain Duo (4.5g) ($20): This is a cream blusher & lip stain duo. It’s easy to apply and even easier to blend.  It has a tiny bit of shimmer and is a very wearable color.

~oOLUTION Eye Love (15mL) (~$30): This eye cream provides “wide-awake eyes no matter how many glasses of bubbly you had the night before.”  This is so me.  Well, not the too many glasses of bubbly part.  But I for sure need wide-awake eyes.  Between not getting enough sleep and allergies (who knew allergies would get me in the winter too), I need this.

~The Seaweed Bath Co. Detox + Age-Defying Restore + Protect Day Cream (10mL Total) ($20.48): I was surprised (but happy) to get two of these in my box.  It’s a thick cream – almost like a hand-cream consistency.   It absorbed quickly and wasn’t the least bit greasy.  It’s said to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, but it’s too soon for me to tell if that’s working.

~La Theorie Des Volcans Noir Eternae Youth Potion, Face Scrub (30mL) (~$32): This starts out pink and then turns gray (I am not sure how, but it does).  It’s slightly gritty and can be used as a mask or as a face scrub.  It smells almost fruity, is cruelty-free and is free of Phthalates, Paraben, Phénoxyéthanol & Silicones.

~Daily Concepts Exfoliating Body Scrubber ($5): This scrubber has two sides – one is gentle for sensitive areas (like your face), and the other side is coarser for rougher spots.  What’s even better though is that is it has a label with an indicator that fades when it’s time to replace.  Very smart.

All totaled I came up with a value of $107.48 for the January 2017 GLOSSYBOX.  This was one of my favorite GLOSSYBOX boxes of the past few months.  Everything in here was new to me, and I will use each of the items!
