Birchbox Man ships via USPS (through Newgistics) and arrives within the first few days of the month or the last few days or the previous month.
Birchbox Man allows subscribers to select their Lifestyle Item for their box. This month’s options were: Tretorn Crew Socks – 2 pair, The Knottery Navy Windowpane Tie or W&P Vacuum Water Bottle (Birchbox Exclusive). If you don’t make a selection, Birchbox Man will make one for you based on your profile / preferences.
The March 2017 Birchbox Man included the following items:
~Tretorn Men’s Crew Socks ($12): We opted for the socks as our lifestyle choice this month. My husband doesn’t necessarily “need” more socks, but he didn’t need any of the other picks either, and I thought he’d get the most use out of these (I believe we got the water bottle in a previous Birchbox Man box as well). I was a little surprised that the socks were identical? I am not sure if everyone got the same or we just got “lucky.”
~Olivina Men All-In-One Hair, Face & Body Wash (2 fl.oz) ($2): This all-in-one hair, face and body wash has warm cedar and vanilla scents. It smells amazing and is ideal for my husband and his many travels.
~Kiehl’s Men’s Oil Eliminator 24-Hour Anti-Shine Moisturizer (15mL) ($5.40): I LOVE when Kiehl’s products pop up in Birchbox boxes. I wish Kiehl’s would launch a box! The Oil Eliminator is an oil-free moisturizer that absorbs sweat and surface oil to instantly diminish shine and shrink pores over time. I thought my husband’s skin looked amazing. It took away a lot of shine but didn’t dry out his skin at all.
~Billy Jealousy Assassin Deep Exfoliating Scrub (10mL) ($4.90): This scrub buffs away dead surface cells and smells amazing – like citrus. It’s not exactly a gentle scrub, so B said he wouldn’t want to use it every day, but once or twice a week should be enough.
~Olivina Men Bourbon Cedar Cologne (~$2): This scent has woodsy top notes of red cedar and a warm base of vanilla. It seems to be more of a winter scent, but I do love it.
All totaled our March 2017 March 2017 Birchbox Man had a value of $26.30. That’s a fairly low value for this box, and while B will use everything in here, it just didn’t “wow” either one of us.
