GlobeIn ships via USPS. Boxes ship on the 15th of the month (I received mine early for review purposes). Orders placed after the 15th of the calendar month will ship on the 15th of the following calendar month. If boxes sell out before the 15th, your subscription will begin the following month.
I was almost spoiler free when this one arrived which make it extra fun!
The warehouse forgot the information book (and greeting card) in my box, so GlobeIn sent it to me in digital form for the review.
The February 2017 GlobeIn Artisan Box theme is “Dream” and included the following items:
~Imani + Kids Dream On Tote Bag, Kenya (Retail $25): This tote is perfection! It’s a heavyweight cotton and is super sturdy. The straps are wide, and it was comfortable to wear on my shoulder. I couldn’t be happier with this fantastic tote!
~Dessert Bowl, Tunisia (Retail $12): If I am not mistaken we have received a very similar bowl from GlobeIn in the past. Different pattern, but same size and shape. They recommend it for ice-cream, but I think it’s a little small for that personally ;). I’ll put some sort of snack in it, though.
~Dream Journal, India (Retail $12): This is so beautiful! It’s gold and purple, and the pattern is stunning. The inside is blank and can be used to journal, draw or even keep a mini scrapbook.
~GlobeIn Greeting Card (Retail $3): As I mentioned my box was missing the greeting card, but all boxes will include this greeting card. It’s blank on the inside and has the following quote by Eleanor Roosevelt on it “the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
~Palm Leaf Pouch, Mexico (Retail $12): Every GlobeIn includes the signature palm leaf basket (some months give you the option to choose between the basket and a replacement item). Colors (and styles) do vary, so it’s not like you are getting the same one every month, which I appreciate.
All totaled I came up with a value of $74 for the February 2017 GlobeIn “Dream” box. I think the tote was my favorite GlobeIn item to date!
