ipsy Review - February 2017
ipsy sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products based on your ipsy profile. Their bags always have an incredible value (well over the $10 cost), and I am always amazed at how they do it. I don’t always love everything in the bags, but I always always think it was worth my $10.  They also offer a rewards system for subscribers.  You can earn points by reviewing the items you get in your bags, sharing your ipsy bag on social media, etc. You can then redeem your points for products (often items which were featured in previous months) on the ipsy website.

ipsy Review - February 2017

There is a ton of variation in ipsy bags, so they don’t include product details on their information card. Specific details on the items in your bag can be found in your ipsy account online.

ipsy Review - February 2017

The February 2017 ipsy theme is #ipsy Much Love and my Glam Bag included the following items:

~The Bag: This month’s bag is a deep denim with orange trim.  The orange zipper pull is in the shape of lips and has ipsy engraved on it.  And it just so happened today that the leggings I had on today matched this perfectly.

~Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish in I Give Good Tweet ($15): I Give Good Tweet is a robin’s egg blue and will be so amazing for Spring. Trust Fund Beauty is 10-free, 100% Vegan & Cruelty-free, Paraben-free and also GMO-free.  I love getting polishes in my Glam Bag!

~Naked Cosmetics HD Finishing Banana Powder (.35oz) ($14.99): I think this is full-size, but I am not 100% sure?  It’s designed to set your makeup and also works to hide under-eye circles.  I am going to have to try that for my dark circles.

~kensie Deluxe Mini Purse Sprayer (10mL) ($9): kensie has top notes of peach, mandarin, green, middle notes of cyclamen, rose, jasmine, orange flower, oakmoss, violet and bottom notes of musk, amber, cedarwood, sandalwood, tonka, vanilla. This scent is amazing.  It’s got a lot of different notes, but it’s not overwhelming or confusing.  I didn’t think it lasted very long, but I didn’t mind spraying it again.

~Juice Beauty Photo-Pigments Last Looks Cream Blush (Flush) (.11oz / 3g) ($24): This is full-size!  It’s vegan & cruelty-free and formulated without parabens, petroleum, propylene or butylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulfates, pesticides, phthalates, artificial dyes or synthetic fragrances.  I received Flush which is a nude beige.  It’s easy to apply and very wearable!

~NYX Professional Makeup Butter™ Lipstick (Ripe Berry) ($3.60): I never get overly excited about lipstick, but this goes on more like a balm. I received the Ripe Berry Shade which is a deep berry plum.  Very pretty.

All totaled my February 2017 ipsy had a value of $66.59.  That’s an amazing value, and this was a fantastic bag for me.  I will use every single item in it and it was so worth my $10!
