Stitch Fix is a personal styling service for women. With Stitch Fix, you provide your style, size (they also do maternity fixes), and budget preferences, and they will send you a package of stylish goodies to try on at home. You only pay for the items you love and decide to keep. There is a $20 styling fee which is applied to your order should you decide to keep any / all of the pieces. If you don’t keep anything, you don’t receive a refund of the fee. If you keep all of the pieces, you get a 25% discount on everything! Stitch Fix is now offering exchanges for sizing as well. Also, I should mention that you are only charged once you “check out” at Stitch Fix. You have a few days to try everything on, and the box comes with a bag and a prepaid USPS return label so you can easily ship back the pieces you aren’t interested in.

I don’t do the best job of filling out my checkout form and reviewing the pieces I get, but I do have my Stitch Fix reviews linked in my profile which I think helps a lot.
My February 2017 Stitch Fix (Fix #42) included the following items:
~Report Footwear Dempsey Woven Cut Out Bootie ($59): Should I admit that I am not down with the bootie trend? I know they are super in (and have been), but I just don’t love them. Maybe I just haven’t found a pair I love on myself? I see other people wearing them, and they look adorable, but I look like I am trying too hard. I thought the price point on these were fair, but the style, the heel, the design, etc. just weren’t “me”. Verdict: Returned
~Le Lis Adea Faux Suede Button Back Knit Top ($58): I love the cut of this top (and the deep eggplant color), but the material hung funny on me. Like it clung in all of the wrong places instead of just flowing. Had it been made out of a different material it probably would have become my new favorite shirt. But the faux suede didn’t do me any favors. Verdict: Returned.
~Market & Spruce Ernie Textured Cowl Neck Pullover ($78): This also does me no favors, but I really don’t care. LOL! The cowl neck is fantastic, and it’s easy to pull on over whatever you have on. AND it has pockets. YESSSSS! Verdict: Kept.
~Paper Moon Kaplin Side Slit Detail Knit Top ($48): Meh. This looked so cute – until I put it on. It was long (which I like), but also oddly boxy. Plus, it was see through. I wouldn’t necessarily call it sheer, but you’d probably want to wear something under it. It’s not exactly a boatneck, but the neckline is fairly open, so while bra straps don’t show, tank straps probably will. Overall, not a piece that works for me. Verdict: Returned.
~Papermoon Fausta Elbow Patch Raglan Knit Top ($54): This is also a tad see-through and has some of the same neckline issues as the top above but to a lesser extent. I love the sleeves on here (they are almost the same faux suede material as the eggplant top) and the elbow patches too. I just didn’t feel comfortable in it if that makes sense? Verdict: Returned.
My Fix would have been $202.75 had I kept everything and for five pieces – including shoes – I thought that was pretty reasonable. Of course, I am only going to end up keeping one item, but as long as I do find a piece I love, I am happy.
