~Good evening! We had such a busy weekend around here. My cousins were down from up-north and we spent the day downtown (Detroit) yesterday and went to see the Lego Batman movie today.   We went to Belle Isle, hit up some local shops, had dinner at Green Dot Stables and just enjoyed the city.  We all liked the move today too.  I love that they throw some adult humor in there.

~Does anyone have any good recommendations for dry skin? I thought maybe it was an allergic reaction (and it may well be), but my skin has been super itchy lately. The more I think about it, the more it itches which might also be an issue.  LOL!

~Does anyone else still play Pokemon Go?  I do (I mean the kids do) and I am super excited about all these new guys!  I have zero idea who any of them are or what they do, but I love catching them!

~My cousin was telling me today about all the “Peep” flavored items that will be sold this year, including Oreo Peeps. I don’t necessarily like Peeps, but it’s more the texture than the flavor, so I think I will like these.

That’s it from here! Have a great night!

I think that forced hot air heating really dries out your skin. I love Kiehls Creme de Corps, although Avenno isn’t bad either and much less expensive.

I’ve never had anything like this happen before! We even have a humidifier on our furnace so I don’t even think it’s that dry in here. The itching is driving me nuts though. I used to use Creme de Corps and LOVED it. Maybe I should try again??

Thank you! I may actually have some of that around here…

My kids (7 yo girl, 5 yo boy) and husband and I are big PoGo fans. Even my 1.5 year old squeals “ball” when he sees us playing. I’m having a blast catching the new guys. Finally leveled up to 26 tonight when we all went out for a big Pok?-hunt. It makes us all happily walk miles.

If you’re willing to try it, snail mucus filtrate has been amazing for my eczema. Mizon Snail Recovery Gel cream has gotten pretty mainstream and it’s very cheap – around $5 if you order from Korea (via ebay or Amazon), but also available for not too bad a markup on Amazon Prime and even from Walmart. I also use the Scinic All in One because it’s cheap enough to go all over my body. The Body Shop’s shea body butter is the best body butter I’ve found, but it works better over a lighter lotion or body oil/serum. The Body Shop also has a great hemp hand cream, but I hate the smell!

I’m using Aveeno 24 hours skin relief lotion for my v. dry skin and it’s working magically. It really does last 24 hours, highly recommend.
