White Willow Box Review - February 2017

White Willow Box is a bi-monthly Canadian based lifestyle subscription box. Each box will contain four to five sample / full-sized products ranging from: beauty and personal care products, fashion accessories, home decor accents, culinary delights, technology gadgets and other lifestyle surprises.  The box is $58.45 CAD shipped within Canada or $69.45 CAD shipped to the States.  With the current exchange rate, it works out to about $52 USD (shipped to the US).  I want to mention that White Willow Box recently switched from a monthly to a bi-monthly subscription and increased their prices from $35/month to $49.95/month. October was the first box to reflect this change.

White Willow Box
Cost: $49.95/bi-monthly (CAD).
Ships To: Canada ($8.50 CAD/month). United States ($19.50CAD/month).
Coupon Code: N/A

White Willow Box ships from Canada and took about a week to arrive.  It ships directly from Canada and must clear customs, so it may take a few weeks, or it could just take a few days for your box to arrive.

I love opening this box up!

The February 2017 White Willow Box included the following items:

~Fragrance Medallion by D.L. & Co. ($25): Subscribers will receive this in “Thorne Apple” or “Lady Rhubarb.” I received “Thorne Apple, ” and I love it. It’s not too strong or too sweet and is a true apple scent. I had never used a “fragrance medallion” before and had to do a little research on them.  They are generally used in small spaces like a closet, a drawer, bathrooms, etc.  It has a satin ribbon and pretty much looks like a Christmas ornament to me.  It’s a heavy ceramic (it’s not glossy – it has more of a rough feel), and you can spray the extra fragrance they provided when you think it’s getting low.  Very cool.

~Gold Foil Polka Dot Plate (~$15): This can be used for anything from food to as a candle platter to a trinket dish.  I am assuming there are variations of this because the one in the picture is gold with white polka dots and mine is a beige with gold polka dots.  I don’t think you can go wrong with any colorway of this.

~Playing Footsie Foot Soak by Barefoot Venus (~$12.50): This smells amazing!  It’s a 99% pure coconut milk foot soak and is created without Parabens, Propylene Glycol, Synthetic Colour, and Mineral Oil.  It has a powdery texture and screams vacation to me ;).

~Lip Macaron by MOR Australia ($10): Subscribers will receive this in Rosebud, Passion Flower, Lychee Flower, Peach Nectar or Cassis Noir.  I received the “Rosebud” – perfect timing for Valentine’s Day!  It’s sheer but leaves your lips hydrated and with a bit of shine.

~Caramella Pocket Chocolate by URGE Chocolates (~$4): Ahh, delicious!  I had to hide it (from myself), so I didn’t eat it all, but it was good.  Real good.  It’s described as “55% Dark Belgian chocolate with a thin creamy caramel layered center, topped with just a touch of sea salt for a little crunch and flavour”.  Amazing.

All totaled I came up with a value of $66.50 for the February 2017 White Willow Box. I loved this box!  The value isn’t amazing, but it was well curated, and I will use everything in it.
