The February 2017 Bless Box theme was “Love in in the Box” included the following items:
~Something Nutritious: Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides ($25): You can stir this powder into either hot or cold liquids. The label says it’s unflavored, but I mixed it with my Spark and could taste something in there. It also made my drink a little foamier than usual. But this is supposed to boost vitality for your skin, skin, bones and everywhere in between, so I can handle it tasting a little different.
~Something Plant-Based: Tone It Up Protein Sample ($3): This is a plant-based protein designed for women, by women. It’s made using non-GMO, Kosher, Gluten-free and organic ingredients. I’ll probably end up dropping this in a smoothie somewhere down the road.
~Something Exotic: Alexis Ren x ColourPop Blotted Lip (Deja Vu) ($5) & Something Day: Alexis Ren x ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip (Bare Necessities) ($6): The information card shows that the Blotted Lip was supposed to be in the “Exotic” shade, but I am much happier with the Deja Vu I received, which is a pink nude. It goes perfectly with the Bare Necessities which is a “peachy pink nude”.
~Something Boss: Maybelline Colossal Big Shot Mascara ($8.49): I have used this in the past and have been happy with it. It gets you amazing volume, and you only need one coat to do it. I am going to save this one, so I don’t end up with 20 open mascaras at one-time (this happens to be quite often).
~Something Versatile: Maybelline 24K Palette ($11.99): This palette includes 12 dazzling colors infused with metallic gold pigments. They are all gorgeous, and I don’t think you can beat the price on this one either. It’s going to be fantastic for traveling and isn’t going to be something you will be devastated about if a shade ends up cracking.
~Something Nourishing: amika Nourishing Mask ($10), Something Haute: amika Haute Mess Texture Gel ($10) and Something Volumizing: amika Bombshell Blowout Spray ($10): I am thrilled to get this amika trio! My hair can use a mask right now, and volumizing spray is also much needed. And I will use the gel to do my 8-year-old hair. amika products smell amazing and are also a treat to get in subscription boxes.
~Something Rich: bliss Lemon + Sage Body Butter ($10): This lotion is thick and rich and fabulous! I have been using it on my feet at night and couldn’t be happier with it.
~Something Stylish: Noonday Collection Rosewater Bangles Bracelet ($30): Stunning! This bracelet is made out of glass beads in shades of blush and taupe on strands of dainty metal. The focus of Noonday is to empower women, create opportunities and help those who need it most to find a sustainable income.
~Something Lovely: BLESS Love-Inspired Cards ($15): Like the information, card says, just because Valentine’s Day is over doesn’t mean you can’t still brighten someone’s card with a card!
~Coupons: The box also includes coupon codes and discounts for products found in the box.
All totaled the February 2017 Bless Box had a value of $144.48. I am really liking this box! The curation is great, as is, the value!
