I have been eyeing Cozy Reader Club for a long time now and finally decided to take the plunge this month.  I knew going in that it wasn’t going to be a “value” subscription, but it’s a box I see pictures of and wish I would have ordered.

The March 2017 “Happy Spring” Cozy Reader Club included the following items:

~All Grown Up by Jami Attenberg ($15): This book looks fantastic and is actually one of the Book of the Month picks for March as well! I can’t wait to sit down and get started (it may need to wait till after this weekend’s March Madness games) on it!

Description from Goodreads:
Who is Andrea Bern? When her therapist asks the question, Andrea knows the right things to say: she’s a designer, a friend, a daughter, a sister. But it’s what she leaves unsaid—she’s alone, a drinker, a former artist, a shrieker in bed, captain of the sinking ship that is her flesh—that feels the most true. Everyone around her seems to have an entirely different idea of what it means to be an adult: her best friend, Indigo, is getting married; her brother—who miraculously seems unscathed by their shared tumultuous childhood—and sister-in-law are having a hoped-for baby; and her friend Matthew continues to wholly devote himself to making dark paintings at the cost of being flat broke. But when Andrea’s niece finally arrives, born with a heartbreaking ailment, the Bern family is forced to reexamine what really matters. Will this drive them together or tear them apart?*

~Cozy Leaf White Jasmine Green Tea ($8.99): “Green tea scented with jasmine blossoms for serene warmth of smooth and floral notes”.  I don’t love tea, so I am going to pass this along to my tea loving cousin and get a coffee to enjoy this book with ;). Just a side note, but Cozy Crate is a monthly subscription box from Cozy Leaf!

~Sequim Bee Farm Honey Blackberry ($8.50): This is described as a light honey with a delicate fruity essence.  I sampled this alone, and it was amazing, but I suspect it would be 100x better on a warm biscuit.  Don’t judge me, but I am specifically thinking about how good it would be on a McDonald’s biscuit.

~Paper Sushi Cotton Tote ($18): This sturdy bag is 100% cotton and is 14.5″ tall x 16″ wide x 5″ deep.  It fits this box perfectly, and I love it.  My new “thing” (and it’s probably not new to anyone else) is to “wrap” gifts in totes like these (well mainly from the Dollar Spot at Target).  It might not look as fancy as a perfectly wrapped gift, but it is practical.

~mitscoots, Women’s Polka Dot Socks ($12):  These socks are adorable! Plus for every pair of sold, they will donate an equal quality pair to someone in need and employ the transitioning homeless to package them up.

~Lark Russian Tea Cakes ($10): Russian Tea Cakes are light buttery pecan cookies covered in powdered sugar.  They are every bit as delicious as they sound.

All totaled the March 2017  Cozy Reader Club had a value of $72.49 (I used Amazon pricing for the book – not retail pricing).  That’s just about what I expected from this box.  I knew it wasn’t going to be a money saver, but I love the curation!

What do you think of Cozy Reader Club?  If you are interested in ordering, use coupon code “COZYTIME” to save $5 off your first box.
