~Good morning! We started Spring Cleaning this weekend and I am hoping to continue the trend this week. We took a big load of stuff to Goodwill and I would love to drop some more off. B also washed all the windows outside, the boys cleaned up their rooms and I cleaned my closet. The basement needs to be tackled next!
~Not too many boxes coming this week, but I am still expecting my Proozy Mystery Box, Geek Fuel, Pooch Perks, the Target Arts & Crafts Box, Birchbox Man and I am sure a handful of others.
~Speaking of Target Arts & Crafts Subscription for Kids, it’s now SOLD OUT! I have mine on the way to review (I ordered yesterday and it shipped a few hours later), and I will post if it becomes available again.
~Talk to me about Yoga dvds / Yoga On Demand. B and I did an On Demand one over the weekend (I like yoga and he needs to stretch more) and it was okay (my shoulders are still sore), but we need one with less chanting and more movement. Does that make sense? Do you have any recommendations?
~Did you hear that new emojis are coming?? Not sure why, but I get super excited about this kind of stuff. It’s the little things.
That’s it from here! Have a great day!
Where is the margarita emoji?!
My favorite online workouts are les mills on demand. They have a lot of different things but their version of yoga is bodybalance/bodyflow. It does have a couple of Pilates tracks but every song is its own thing, there’s no chanting. I do pay for it but I think they have a free trial so you could see if it was worth it. They also have dance workouts, kickboxing and weightlifting. The grit is a little like going to a cross fit gym.
I will check that one out! The Les Mills ones sound like they would work. Plus everyone says he’s easy on the eyes, so that’s a bonus.
Pocket Yoga app on iTunes! It just talks you through the series.
Thank you! I forgot about iTunes! I could stream that!
“less chanting and more movement”
Preach, girl! I am not into the chanting either – when they say “namaste” at the end, I always think “Nah, I’m good.”
LOL. B just looked at me like what? I was like wait, I’ll fast forward. I didn’t want to lose him before it even started!
I go to a yoga studio 3+ times a week and they don’t do any chanting! My instructor will talk you through the moves so you know what you’re working on/what’s benefiting from that particular move and I like that! I need to start doing some at home too.
