Nina Garcia Quarterly Box Review (#NGQ09) - March 2017
Quarterly is a new way to connect with the people you follow and find interesting. Quarterly Co. offers subscription boxes (which are shipped on a quarterly basis) from well-known curators which are filled with things they love. This is the Nina Garcia Quarterly Co. box (#NGQ09).  If you aren’t familiar, she’s the Marie Claire Creative Director & Project Runway Judge.  This box is $99/quarter and while it’s supposed to ship quarterly, I am not 100% sure there has been a box each quarter? I believe the last one shipped in September or October 2016.

Nina Garcia Quarterly Co.
Cost: $99/quarter.
Ships To: United States.
Coupon Code: N/A

Quarterly ships via FedEx Smart Post and took just a few days to arrive to me.  Quarterly ships out of Wisconsin and I am in Michigan so it didn’t have to travel far.

This was one of the biggest subscription boxes I have ever gotten.  The box was huge!

The smaller items were wrapped in tissue paper while the larger items arrived in their original packaging.

The Nina Garcia #NGQ09 Quarterly Co. box included the following “office favorites so that, your work life can be just as chic as you are!”:

~Tote from Karl Lagerfeld Paris ($133.50): I am not sure how I missed it in the spoiler (which is what sold me on this box) but this tote is reversible.  I opened the box and saw a blush tote and thought wait, a second, this isn’t the black tote they showed in the spoiler?  But it’s reversible!  One side is black and the reverse is a blush pink. I am not sure how many times I will reverse it (I feel like too many times might damage it), but once or twice a season would probably be fine.  This bag is 13″W X 12″H X 5.5″D, has a magnetic closure and is “faux leather”.  It includes a dust bag and roomy removable zipper pouch.  The bag features a removable crossbody strap (in blush) and removable double top handles (one side is black, one side is blush).  I couldn’t be happier with this bag and will be switching over to it in the next few days.

~Antioxidant Tea from Your Tea (60 tea bags) ($35): Ingredients in this tea have been known to increase immunity, assist sleep, act as a digestive aid and to strengthening overall system.  I am not a tea drinker, but my cousin will enjoy getting these.

~Notepad from Rifle Paper Co. ($8.50): I love Rifle Paper Co. products (don’t we all) and love this notepad. The print is fun and hopefully it helps me tackle things on my To Do List.

~Organic Herbal Lip Balm from Dermatologist Dr. Barney Kenet ($6): This petroleum-free organic lip balm is made from a blend of natural oils and beeswax.  It made my lips feel amazing.

~Gold Handled Scissors from Oh, Hello Friend ($12): I don’t know what I will use this tiny little scissors for, but they certainly are adorable.

~Acrylic Tape Dispenser from Russell + Hazel ($20): I think this is the third tape dispenser like this I have received.  I bought one from Birchbox (I think) and then got one in a Happy Rebel Box and now this one.  I still love it though and it does look great on my desk.

~Gold Mirrored Tray from American Atelier ($39.99): Gorgeous!  I hate trying to take pictures of mirrored items, but I LOVE the way they look in a room.  This is going on the back bookshelf in my office to hold little knick-knacks, candles, maybe flowers, you get the idea!  It’s 15″ in diameter and is a substantial, sturdy piece.

All totaled I came up with a value of $254.99 for the Nina Garcia Quarterly Co. box (#NGQ09).  That’s a great value for a $100 box and really, I felt like it was worth more than that.  I had canceled my Nina Garcia Quarterly Co. box and just hasn’t feeling the boxes anymore, but this changed all that.  I think it’s my favorite box she has ever done!  I think if you are happy with the tote (like I am) this box will be a winner, but if the tote isn’t your style, this is probably going to be a miss because the tote is certainly the “hero” of this box.

Did you get a Nina Garcia Quarterly Co. box (#NGQ09)?  What variations did you get and what did you think of the box?
