The POPSUGAR Must Have 2017 Resort Box included the following items:

~CC Skye Coral Beaded Bali Necklace with Antique Gold Charms ($95): This necklace is 36″ inches in length and can be worn as one long strand or doubled up for a shorter look.  I didn’t realize it when I saw the spoiler, but the charms are Hamsa hands along with “Made With Love.”  This fits with the resort theme perfectly and if I had a resort vacation coming up, I would for sure pack it.

~The Beach People Escape Beach Cushion ($29): This is a unique subscription box item! It’s a double-sided inflatable beach pillow.  It was softer than I was expecting (the cover is thick) and could easily be packed in your beach bag and/or suitcase.  I also want to mention that the cover is removable and machine washable, so no worries about getting it dirty.

~Roberta Roller Rabbit Slate Beach Shrug ($95):  I love the pattern and colors on this (like I LOVE the colors), but I am not sold on the fit.  It’s called a beach shrug, but there are a ton of other ways you can wear it as well (check out these styling ideas).  The styling ideas and the spoiler picture had me thinking this was on the smaller side of (one-size fits all), but it was actually super roomy. It has a front opening and wide arm-holes, so it really is a piece that can work for most people.  Try and ignore all my super odd poses below – I was just trying to show the actual size of the shrug.  As I said I do love the pattern and color, so I am going to have to play around and see if I can’t make this piece work for me.

~EVE LOM Cleanser and Muslin Cloth ($50): This is a “five-benefit formula that decongests, exfoliates, tones, soothes, and deep cleanses to remove impurities and waterproof makeup for a beautiful complexion.”  It’s a bit of a process to use it, but since it basically does everything, you are eliminating a bunch of other steps.  The changes in the weather have been making me break out again, and I am hoping this will help.  Also, I noticed some people talking about the strong scent of this, but doesn’t last and sometimes natural products like this do have a bit of a funky smell.

~Triple C Diamond Play ($30):  This is probably the most fun shaped speaker I own!  I don’t know if it’s something I would personally take on a resort vacation or to the beach (granted I have children, so my beach days aren’t what they used to be), but I will use this at home.  It makes a fun little desk accessory too!

~Vosges Mint Matcha Chocolate Bar ($8): This bar consists of Grade A Matcha and Mint in 45% Dark Milk Chocolate.  I am going to pass this along to my cousin since I am just not a green tea fan.

All totaled I came up with a value of $307 for the POPSUGAR Must Have 2017 Resort Box.  This just wasn’t my favorite limited edition box from POPSUGAR.  The value was there, and I did feel like all of the items fit nicely with the Resort theme of the box, but it didn’t have that wow factor that some of the other quarterly boxes (Nina Garcia and FabFitFun come to mind) have had recently.  Still, I love POPSUGAR and will happily order their next LE box!

The POPSUGAR Must Have Limited Edition Resort box?  What’d you think? This box is still available while supplies last, so if you want to snag one you still can!

Spread the love
