Today I’m Smiling Because…

~It’s Saturday! The boys spent the night at my parents last night (thank you Mom), so B and I got to have a date night! We just went out for pizza and went to WalMart (LOL), but it was nice to hang out with just him.

~The boys and I put out all the Spring / Easter decorations a few days ago.  It might be a little early, but it looks so cute.

~It was SO nice out yesterday. I had the windows open, the kids were running around outside without coats on, ahh, Spring.

~L has been writing in him daily agenda in cursive lately and OMG I am loving it!  I need to start writing in cursive more.

~All is still well with Buddy and Buster!  I love having a puppy around and I LOVE seeing Buddy bounce around with his new pal!

That’s it from here! What are you smiling about today?

Spread the love

Did the school teach him cursive, or did you? Most Texas public schools stopped because “they had too much to cover” to teach it… my sister is going into her first year of teaching and is going to talk to each student’s parents about teaching them or sending worksheets home with them at the very least… it bothers us to no end and a lot of parents have taken it upon themselves to teach their kids. Haha… Can you imagine in a few years everyone signing their name in print?

Not even just the signature, but not being able to read any documents that are in cursive. Makes me extremely sad.

They teach it in his school (it’s a public school). 3rd Grade is when they start to learn it.
