Pooch Perks boxes ship via USPS on the 10th and the 25th of every month. If you register between the 5th and the 20th, your Perks box will ship out on the 25th. If you register between the 21st and the 4th, your Perks box will ship out on the 10th.
The May 2017 Standard Popular Pooch Barks N’ BBQ themed Pooch Perks box included the following items:
~So Bright Beef Liver Recipe Treats ($2): These treats are made in the USA, have no artificial flavors or preservatives and have no by-products included. My dogs lean more towards the softer, chewier treats, so I will be passing these on!
~Preen Pets Just Chicken ($4.59): These look pretty gross, but were a hit with my dogs. They are made from 100% USDA Chicken Meat, are all-natural, preservative free and additive free. The treats are chewy like jerky and don’t get gobbled up in seconds which I feel like is a good thing.
~Ruff Ruff Couture Cheeseburger ($5.99): This is perfect for the theme this month. It has a built-in squeaker and is super cute.
~Soft Flex Airball ($4.98): LOL! I am afraid to let my kids get a hold of this in the house. They will launch it like a football across the room. It’s made of a durable plastic and has a built-in squeaker. It’s an outside toy for sure.
~Pet Qwerks Flavorit Nylon Bone (Small) ($4.99): This bone is infused with human-grade chicken flavoring and can be enjoyed alone or with a spreadable treat in it. The tiny flavor cells are designed to hold just enough to get your dog to chew on it, but not so much that they’re getting so many calories. Buster (our puppy who likes to chew) wasn’t interested in it alone, so I will need to find some spreadable treats and see what he thinks.
~Champion Life Eco-Friendly Poop Bags ($10.99): No explanation needed here! Every pet owners needs poop bags right? This package includes 60 eco-friendly bags – 15 in each roll, which should last a few months.
All totaled the May 2017 Pooch Perks had a value of $33.54. That’s less than the cost of the box, but in all fairness, I did use internet pricing (not retail pricing), and I never include shipping costs in my calculation.
