This week I am saying so what if…
~I cannot believe how big Buster is getting! They grow so fast!
~The number of times my children go in and out the doorwall on nice days is mind blowing. And, if we are being honest, it drives me crazy.
~I need to get my hands on those new Caramel m&m’s.
~I know it’s only a matter of time before someone (probably me) spills something on the couch.
~No matter how many times I have seen it, I still watch Sex in the City when it comes on.
~I wish every single product had a clear expiration date on them. Or at least a “use 6 months after opening” note?
~I have finally realized I am in too many LuLaRoe groups on Facebook. #notificationsallday!!
What are you saying so what to this week?
~I wish every single product had a clear expiration date on them. Or at least a ?use 6 months after opening? note? boy did you nail that quote
LOL, I had to google what a doorwall was. I have never heard it called that before.
LOL!!! It must be regional! What do you call them??
I live in California and call mine a sliding glass door or slider. I always think it’s funny to hear the regional take on words. I think it’s also weird when people call soda “pop”, but I think that’s a general east coast thing. Or ice box. it’s a freezer, LOL!
Haha! I am so glad I’m not the only one…. at first I thought it was a typo. In Texas it’s definitely called a sliding glass door or sliding door.
With that bring said, I am certain we say certain things in Texas that people have to scratch their heads about and google. 😉
I am cracking up. I googled and it’s totally a michigan thing. Urban Dictionary says:
“I call it a doorwall because I’m from Detroit and I don’t know any better!”.
My coworker that grew up in the Detroit area used to call cabinets cupboards and cupboards cabinets… We would always banter about who was right. Turns out she was according google. In Texas, for the most part, a cabinet is something fixed to wall and cannot be moved, and a cupboard is a piece of furniture that can. It was so funny, but we questioned her about once a week when she would say something we didn’t get. Doorwall would have been right up on the top of that list. It is really a pretty cool way of wording it and kind of makes sense!
