I couldn’t wait to see my variations this month!

The July 2017 BOXYCHARM theme is “Cutie Pie” and included the following items:

~Uni-Brow Universal Eyebrow Pencil | Winky Lux ($12): I found this brow pencil to be a little dry for my liking.  In all fairness though, I find this to be the case with most brow pencils.  I think I just push too hard when I apply it?  On the bright side, it stayed put nicely.

~Project Beauty Spray.Set.Go ($32): I didn’t realize it, but Project Beauty is the brand behind the HAIRGURT line that has popped up in previously BOXYCHARM boxes.  The spray is designed to help keep your makeup stay fresh all day long.  I’d recommend transferring this into a more user-friendly bottle.  This feels a bit like you are giving your face a shower.  At the very least hold very far away from your face!

~ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip (one of six shades) (Beeper) ($6): Subscribers will receive one of six shades.  I received “Beeper,” which is a greige rose.  I would call it a nude brown with a hint of copper.  It’s long-lasting and dries quickly.

bareMinerals Invisible Light Translucent Powder Duo ($32)” Subscribers will either receive the powder duo I received or the bareMinerals Mineral Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 50 Daily Prep Lotion ($30).  The powder duo contains two shades – Matte and Glow.  According to the description, “the Matte absorbs oil and is the perfect setting powder while Glow, infused with rose gold pearls, adds sheer luminosity for highlighting and strobing.”  Truthfully I would have preferred the sunscreen, but I have a friend who I know will love this, and I will be passing it along.

Blinc Electric Eyes Eyeshadow Palette ($45):  I kept reading about how highly pigmented these shadows were, and it’s more than true.  These are AMAZING.  I used a light touch with my swatches and still got incredible color.  The formula is fabulous as well, once on it stayed put!

All totaled my July 2017 BOXYCHARM had a value of $127.  The value was amazing (as usual), and I more than got my $21 worth.  This is one month I would have preferred a different box variation, but it happens!  I love the palette (which is over 2x the cost of the box), and everything else is just a bonus ;).
