GlobeIn has two box themes this month – Adventure and Bathe.  This review is on”Adventure.”

The July 2017 GlobeIn Artisan Box “Adventure” themed box included the following items:

~Wildlife Works Drawstring Backpack ($25): There are a variety of colors/designs sent to subscribers, and I would call mine one of the more neutral ones. It’s still bright and fun, but not quite as bold as some of the others.  It has a drawstring top and designed to be worn backpack style.  It was made in Kenya by artisans at Wildlife Works.  Local artisans can earn enough to feed their families and send their children to school without killing wildlife or destroying their environment.

~Matr Boomie Block Print Bandana ($14): This bandana is hunter green with white leaves.  Because it was hand-crafted, every piece is slightly different, making it a one-of-a-kind original!   Artisans working with Matr Boomie are connected with solar power, education and health care they may not have had access to otherwise.

~Enamel Travel Mug ($12): I vaguely recall receiving this in a past GlobeIn Artisan box, but I can’t find it anywhere.  Hmm.  Maybe we received an enamel cup? Either way, I like it!  You can’t use this in the microwave, but you can use it to heat food or beverages over an open flame.

~Maggie’s Organics Organic Cotton Socks ($10): These socks look a bit small, but they are just right.  They are made in the USA with organic cotton ethically sourced in Peru.

All totaled the July 2017 GlobeIn Artisan Box had a value of about $61.  GlobeIn is now $50/month ($40 + $10 S/H).  Back in May, they were planning on increasing prices to $55/month, but it looks like they have settled on $50/month.  It was $40/month, and now it is $40/month plus $10/month shipping after your first month.  Of course, I would prefer the $40 price, but the value was over the cost, so that is good!

What do you think of GlobeIn? If you are interested in subscribing, you can head over to their site and get signed up. Don’t forget that new customers can use the coupon code “WELCOME” to save $10 off their first month of a 3-month subscription to GlobeIn Artisan Box.
