GLOSSYBOX ships via USPS and generally boxes ship in the second half of the month. Sometimes it’s the last week of the month; sometimes it’s closer to the beginning of the month.
GLOSSYBOX boxes are gorgeous and such a treat to unbox! This month’s Tropical Beauty themed box (there were four variations) made it even more fun.
My July 2017 GLOSSYBOX (there were lots of variations this month) included the following:
~Dr. PawPaw Multi-Purpose Soothing Balm (25mL) (~$9): Dr. PawPaw Balm can be used on your lips, skin, hair, cuticles, you name it! The main ingredient is fermented Pawpaw which is the fruit of the plant Carica Papaya (I have no idea what that is). But, according to the website, the Pawpaw has been found to have natural healing qualities. I have been using it on my lips and a few random rough spots near my elbows (from planking). It works like a charm!
~NCLA Clean Up Your Act ($16): Hmm. I am not sure where the polish remover is hiding in this pen because mine is bone dry. I’m just going to dip mine in polish remover and then use it. I do like the design (and love that it has extra tips) and I needed something like this! It’d be better though if it worked as it was supposed to!
~DOUCCE X GLOSSYBOX Blush Duo Palette ($24): I 100% thought that my box was missing a blush! Nope. GLOSSYBOX included one color – Summer Sunset – and subscribers can log into their accounts to select a second shade (complimentary) which will ship with their August box. How fantastic is that? I don’t see the option yet in my account, but I suspect it will appear under Survey (just like it did for the July box option).
~Aerin Beach Cream (full-size) ($45): This beach cream is designed for your hair and body! It’s a conditioning, subtly shimmering formula and works best on dry skin (so not right after you get out of the shower). It has a soft floral scent and does have a slight bronze color to it, but I couldn’t see any visible changed on my skin.
~LAROCHE-POSAY Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser (15mL) ($0.56): This cleanser does everything it is supposed to. It removes face and eye makeup, dirt, and impurities without stripping the skin.
~Luseta Beauty Coconut Milk Shampoo and Conditioner (~$4): I have been loving testing out new shampoos and conditioners lately and was super happy to see this. This duo is sulfate, phosphate, & paraben free. I am looking forward to testing this out in my shower for the next week or so.
All totaled my July 2017 GLOSSYBOX had a value of nearly $99. WOW! That’s huge for GLOSSYBOX, and I love it! Yes, the NCLA pen doesn’t work as designed, but I am making it work for me.
