ipsy sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products based on your ipsy profile. Their bags always have an incredible value (well over the $10 cost), and I am always amazed at how they do it. I don’t always love everything in the bags, but I always always think it was worth my $10. They also offer a rewards system for subscribers. You can earn points by reviewing the items you get in your bags, sharing your ipsy bag on social media, etc. You can then redeem your points for products (often items which were featured in previous months) on the ipsy website.

ipsy bags have a ton of variation, so they don’t include product details on their information card. If you happen to stumble on this review, don’t be surprised if you end up with an entirely different bag. Specific details on the items in your bag can be found in your ipsy account online.
The July 2017 ipsy theme is “Over Easy, ” and my Glam Bag included the following items:
~The Bag: This month’s bag features Gudetama, the ultra chill (and super adorbs) ipsy mascot for July. Who doesn’t love a lazy egg?
~Pacifica Island Life Eyeshadow Palette (3.6g) (~$5): This is an ipsy exclusive! It has five gorgeous shades and a dual ended applicator. The colors are gorgeous, but I found the texture of the shadows to be thick? Maybe clumpy is a better word? It’s possible it was the humidity because it’s been really bad here. They are still absolutely useable, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Note: Pacifica products are 100% vegan, cruelty-free and made in the USA!
~Modicum Skin Care Essential Serum (5mL) ($9.16): This is a serum, moisturizer, and eye cream all in one! It’s also supposed to be good for acne, eczema, and psoriasis. It felt lightweight (not greasy) and made my skin feel like it was glowing!
~tarte cosmetics Rainforest of the Sea™ deep dive cleansing gel (7.5mL) ($1.25): The Deep Dive Gel Cleanser dissolves makeup while also cleansing your skin. I selected this for my July Sample Choice, and I am quite pleased I did because I loved it! It has a nice fragrance and doesn’t strip your skin. Good stuff.
~Trifle Cosmetics Raspberry Ripple – Ombré Radiance Blush Palette (3g – Full-Size) ($17.95): This palette contains three light-enhancing blush shades. All are gorgeous and 100% wearable. The idea is that they should be worn together, but you could wear alone if you prefer. Note: This blush is Paraben-free, fragrance-free, hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic.
~So Susan Blender Brush (~$20): I couldn’t find a price for this online, so I estimated. The bristles are 100% cruelty-free and are made of quality nylon and taklon. It works for anything – Blush, powder, cream, highlighter, shadow, you name it!
All totaled my July 2017 ipsy had a value of $53.36. That’s not the highest value bag I have ever received from them, but I feel like I won the ipsy lotto this month! I loved everything and can’t believe I received two palettes!
