The Summer 2017 Merkaela theme was “Alive.”  The Summer Alive Box included an expansive collection of products crafted with their medicinal and metaphysical properties in mind to inspire you to be present.

~Merkaela Calendula & Lemon Salt Bath ($14): Calendula Lemon Salt Bath supplies the body with magnesium and other nutrients, which helps to alleviate and soothe aching muscles.  It smells amazing and is also all-natural and chemical-free.

~Merkaela Hibiscus Tea Potion ($7.50): This is billed as the “ultimate wellness blend” for Summer.  It has high levels of Vitamin C and will keep you refreshed all Summer long.

~Jasmine & Palo Santo Meditation Elixir: The Meditation Elixir is infused with Lunar energy to help clear unnecessary thought patterns and help you to find the courage to face any challenge.  I don’t meditate, but I like the thoughtfulness and reflection this gave me.  It may have just been me slowing down and taking a minute when I sprayed it, but it helped.

~Merkaela Peppermint Bar Soap ($8.50): The peppermint scent is refreshing and a great wakeup call!

~Merkaela Tangerine & Sage Shea Body Butter: This body butter is thick and rich, but still easy to spread and quick to absorb.  It also smells amazing.  The label says it restores and uplifts and I very much found that to be the case.

~Sacred Sage Smudge Stick:  I do love the idea of the smudge stick, but I am so scared to do it myself!  You ignite the smudge stick for about 30 seconds and then blow it out.  After that, you walk around and clear the energy from whatever room(s) need it.

~Green Aventurine Gemstone: This gemstone is known as the “Stone of Opportunity.”  It is supposed to bring good fortune to all those who wear it and should be used when you are down on your luck.  I am going to have to remember that!

Merkaela Summer 2017 Alive Box Review

I couldn’t do a cost breakdown on the Summer 2017 Merkaela, but it had seven items, which works out to just over $8 per item.  I think that’s worth it and am impressed with this entire box and the thought behind everything in it.

What do you think of Merkaela?  If you are interested in ordering (this box is still available), you can clean more here.
