This month’s box looked good!
The July 2017 Orange Glad box included the following items:
~Cheryl’s Buttercream Frosted Cut Out Cookies: Can you go wrong with Cheryl’s Cookies? They are soft and buttery and have a delicious buttercream frosting. One of mine arrived broken, but it still tastes amazing. This is my kind of dessert! Note: The information card shows a different brand (OSO Good) in place of the Cheryl’s Cookies. There was an insert which stated instead of OSO Cookies to enjoy these Cheryl’s Cookies.
~Sweet Dames Coconut Macaroons: I wish I liked macaroons because these look and smell so good. The coconut is the only part I don’t like ;). These are dense and very filling. And while I am not a big macaroon fan, I will say that these are probably some of the best macaroons I have gotten in a box.
~Whimsy and Spice Cinnamon Chocolate Malt Biscotti: This crunchy biscotti has Ceylon cinnamon baked inside along with chocolate chips! It’s kind of chilly here in the mornings lately (I mean it’s not 95 and 100% humidity anymore), and this plus a cup of coffee sounds like magic.
~Whimsy and Spice Chocolate Orange Cardamom Shortbread Cookies: These are rich, dark chocolate cookies flavored with light, fresh orange zest, and cardamom accents. The cardamom gives them a nice kick and offsets the chocolate well.
I am pretty pleased with this month’s Orange Glad. I always say it, but Orange Glad isn’t a value subscription, and they don’t advertise as one either. They are a fun way to try snacks you may not have otherwise gotten a chance to sample. Hopefully, you’ll find some new favorites from their selections!
