Stitch Fix is a personal styling service for men and women. With Stitch Fix, you provide your style, size, and budget preferences, and they will send you a package of stylish goodies to try on at home. You only pay for the items you love and decide to keep. There is a $20 styling fee which is applied to your order should you decide to keep any / all of the pieces. If you don’t keep anything, you don’t receive a refund of the fee. If you keep all of the pieces, you get a 25% discount on everything!
Also, I should mention that you are only charged once you “check out” at Stitch Fix. You have a few days to try everything on, and the box comes with a bag and a prepaid USPS return label so you can easily ship back the pieces you aren’t interested in.

This is my husband’s (aka B) 11th fix! We’ve gotten some amazing pieces and had some misses, but he still loves it!
B’s July 2017 Stitch Fix Men included the following items:
~Katin Tally Elipses Stripe Poplin Shirt ($65): Meh, this one is a miss. My husband isn’t a fan of the style (short-sleeved button downs are generally a miss), and the color/pattern is not him at all. He also found it a little tight across the chest. Verdict: Returned.
~Hawker Rye Long Sleeve Button Down Shirt ($48): This is B. This is totally, 100% B! It’s a slim fit, we love the red, white and blue and it looks great on B. The price point for this quality shirt was perfect too! A total win. Verdict: Kept.
~7 Diamond Kent Indigo Pique Polo ($59): We really liked the cut of this polo and the deep blue denim color. The material was simply too heavy though. B prefers the softer less structured polo’s and this is just about as far away from that as you can get. Verdict: Returned.
~Tailor Vintage Hilton Patchwork Short ($88): These were a big no. I was surprised B was even willing to try them on. I must say, they look better on him than they did in the box (the fit was spot on), but neither of us were fans. And for $88 it was an easy decision to send them back. Verdict: Returned.
~DL1961 Nick Slim Fit Jean ($125): Ohh, these jeans! I thought these were going to be an easy send back (it’s July and B doesn’t “need” jeans), but he’s all but the fit! They are stretchy and sort of fitted without being skinny jeans. The wash is perfect, but they will need to be hemmed as they are super long. In my dream world, Stitch Fix would pair up with Nordstrom or another big chain and would offer discounts on alterations! Verdict: Undecided.
B is keeping one, maybe two pieces, from his July 2017 Stitch Fix Men, and that’s good enough for us! The discount for keeping all five pieces is great, but we don’t want to keep all five pieces each month. That would add up quite quickly. As long as B finds one or two pieces he loves, it’s a win!
