~Good morning! All is well here. The boys are up-north with my mom for a few days and are having a ball. We don’t start back to school here until after Labor Day so we are still in summer vacation mode!
~B and I are taking advantage of our kid-free time by trying out some new-to-us places around town. Last night we had dinner at Blake’s Tasting Room. Blake’s is a local apple orchard that I have been going to since I was a kid. A few years ago they branched out into hard cider and now sell it throughout the Midwest. Anyway, in addition to having the apple orchard, pumpkin patch, etc. they also have a Tasting Room / Bar with their hard ciders and wines and a small food menu. It’s really cool and I cannot believe it has taken us so long to get there. We will for sure be going back.
~We also watched Snatched (with Goldie Hawn and Amy Schumer) this week. Have you seen it? I will admit I laughed watching it, but it was so stupid. So stupid. I think it was supposed to be like that and I would probably watch it again, but still! LOL!
~If you haven’t been to Target lately, get there now and get some deals on all the brands they are discontinuing (Merona, Mossimo, etc.)! Most things were 50 – 70% off and then an additional 20% off with Cartwheel. I’m excited for the new brands, but I also don’t mind these amazing deals!!!
