From time to run we may run various promotional offers during the holidays or select periods throughout the year for specific box sizes and/or types. All of our promotions will automatically renew on the first of the month following shipment of the promotional offer as pre-paid three month subscriptions at the then subscription rate for the box size originally selected. You may cancel and opt out of the promotional offer subscription at anytime by sending us an email to support@Instacandy.com. In order to cancel your subscription you must email your cancellation request before your subscription billing charge (before the first of the month following shipment). It’s actually a scam. It is not simply a free box + shipping. Upon receiving the email confirmation there is an additional charge of 19.99/month X 3 months + shipping/handling. So the “free box” costs $59.97 + s/h!!!

I ordered too and mine didn’t say that? I’ll let you know if I get charged!

I have been in contact with customer service this morning. They have refunded my 19.99 charge (that I was charged with the free trial). They also explained that unless customers email to cancel after receiving their free box they will be charged for the next month – $19.99 + s/h. So signing up for this free trial box automatically signs the customer up for a 3 month subscription that they can cancel at anytime after receiving the promotional box.
It still isn’t clear why I was charged the $19.99 in addition to the free box. So hopefully my particular situation is unique. However do beware you are automatically in a 3 month subscription with this offer.
I have to say Customer service was prompt and knowledgeable!

Thank you for the update! I also reached out to customer service and learned that I have to cancel prior to 11/1 or request to switch to a monthly plan or I will be billed for the 3 months on 11/1. I figured I would be signing up for a monthly plan with the free trial, but I didn’t realize it was 3-months, so thank you!!!!!

Also, I am glad they refunded your $19.99 so quickly!

Lucy, agreed. Total scam. They couldn’t even send an email confirmation or anything saying they are billing me. I tried canceling before the date and upon calling them I get told to leave my name and number as I will be called back in the order in which my call was received. I never received any call back and my emails were ignored. I’m thinking I have to get a new back card as well as reporting this to my bank as a scam.

Please don’t advertise this company! First off,the sample box was horrible.Marshmallows wereso wierd and then they send two bottlew of some dark chocolate caffine boosters that aren’t even candy.it looks like someone company donated them to them. They went in to my bank account and many other people on yesterday and fraudantly took out $60.They won’t reply to our emails and they keep blocking and removing comments. One lady called their CS and they were so rude and kept hanging up in her face. This is a horrible company and we just want our money back. Please don’t advertise them. They are about to crash as a fraud company
