BarkBox Subscription Review + Coupon Code - October 2017
BarkBox is a monthly subscription box for dogs. Each monthly box contains a combination of 4-6 treats, toys, and hygiene products that have been hand-selected and approved by Scout (the dog), head product tester for BarkBox. All treats included in the boxes are sourced from the USA and Canada, and chews are sourced from the USA, Canada, South America, Australia and New Zealand, so you can be assured that your pet is only getting safe, high-quality items. Boxes can be customized based on the size of your pet, and you can add an extra toy to your box for an extra $9/month. We have been getting BarkBox for ages and have always been satisfied with them.

BarkBox
Cost: $29/month
Ships To: The United States and Canada.  Shipping is an additional $5 to those outside the continental US and in Canada.
Coupon Code: Use code “RAMBLING” save $10 off your first BarkShop order.

BarkBox ships via DHL Global Mail (starts out with DHL and is delivered by the Post Office) and took just a few days to arrive this month. I generally expect it to arrive on or around the 20th of the month.

BarkBox does such an amazing job with their themes each month.  Everything fits together perfectly from the information card to the products to the interior packaging paper.

The October 2017 BarkBox theme was “Household Horrors.” Our Small BarkBox included the following items:

~Scaredryer ($8): Not a hairdryer, a scaredryer! LOL!  This has multiple squeakers, a plush body, and t-shirt rope cord for fun games of tug of war.  My dogs hate the hairdryer, but aren’t scared of this at all!

~Rain of Terror ($10):  The plush raindrops have squeakers insider while the fuzzy cloud is covered in thunderous crinkle.  My dogs don’t love thunder, but they don’t hate it like they hate fireworks!

~Plato Pet Treats Thinkers Chicken Recipe ($4): Beef jerky strips for dogs!  The treats are made with all-natural and organic ingredients and contain no artificial colors, flavors, synthetic preservatives, or GMOs.  I haven’t passed these out yet, but I already know they will be a big hit.

~Crumps Naturals Mini Trainers ($8): These Canadian made treats are made with real chicken and contain no additives, preservatives, or artificial colors.  Trainers are small and chewy, and my dogs loved them!

~American Hound Soft Turkey Bites ($8): The bites are a little larger than the trainers, but they are still soft and chewy.  They are made in the USA and contain no wheat, soy or corn. The package says they are easy to digest and I more than hope this is the case as my dogs inhaled them ;).

All totaled I came up with a value of $38 for the October 2017 BarkBox.  I can’t say enough good things about BarkBox.  They have been around for ages and consistently deliver high-quality products, on-time and the value of the boxes always exceed the cost.

Do you subscribe to BarkBox?  What’d you think of this month’s box?  If you want to subscribe or learn more, click here. A monthly subscription is $29/month, but if you opt for a longer subscription, the price drops as low as $21/month (that’s what I get)!
