Birchbox Man ships via USPS and arrives within the first few days of the month or the last few days or the previous month.

The packaging this month was a little different than normal. The smaller box (with the actual BirchboxMan inside) and the lifestyle item arrived in a padded Birchbox Man mailer.

Birchbox Man allows subscribers to select the Lifestyle Item for their box.  This month’s options were: VESTIGE Short Sleeve Raglan T-Shirt, Fred & Friends – Atomic Nose Hair Trimmer, Balla for Men – Original Powder, or a 9oz S’well Water Bottle (one of two patterns). If you don’t make a selection, Birchbox Man will make one for you based on your profile / preferences.

The October 2017 “Go Get ‘Em” Birchbox Man Box included the following items:

~VESTIGE Short Sleeve Raglan T-Shirt ($55): The shirt was our lifestyle selection this month.  It’s fabulous!  It’s a soft cotton/poly blend and very comfortable. The reviews say it runs a tad small, but I think it’s meant to be fitted?  If not, then I agree it runs small.  My husband had no problem with the sizing and is very happy with it.

~Anthony Facial Scrub (1oz) ($4.50): This smells (and works) fantastic.  It’s not harsh and will work for all skin-types.  Not only does it remove dead surface skin cells, but it also helps to prevent in-grown hairs.

~Brickell Men’s Products Purifying Charcoal Face Wash (1oz) ($3.13):  We’ve never discussed it, but I hope my husband has as much love for charcoal products as I do!  The charcoal in this “cleanses pores of bacteria and irritants,” while the “olive oil dissolves dirty oils and replenishes skin with healthy ones”.  A perfect balance!

~Baxter of California Clay Effect Style Spray (28mL) ($6.39): My husband is more of a wax/pomade guy, but this “Clay-in-a-spray” is pretty neat!  He said it didn’t give as much hold as his normal stuff, but he’d use it again.

~Jack Black All-Over Wipes for Face & Body (2 wipes) ($1): All-Over Wipes work for, you guessed it, all over.  For your face or body.  These are individually packaged, so perfect for traveling or to leave in your desk at work.  You never know when you’ll need it.
~Blackbird Anemone Eau de Parfum (~$1):  Blackbird Anemone has notes of overripe plum, grape, and pink lotus flower along with champagne and salty oceanic ambergris. Also included are hints of brisk tobacco and honey, styrax, and labdanum.  If that sounds like a lot, well, it is.  In a good way though!  I couldn’t figure out what I smelled exactly, but I knew I wanted to smell it more.

All totaled the October 2017 Birchbox Man had a value of $71.02.  That’s a way better value than last month and was super happy with the assortment of lifestyle choices this month.

Did you get a Birchbox Man box this month?  What did you get and what did you think?
