The GMA Discover the Deal Box shipped via USPS and took under a week to arrive. I was very impressed with the fast shipping time on this!
The description / sneak peek of this box looked amazing, and I couldn’t wait to dig into it.
The GMA Discover the Deal Box included the following items:
~Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer (3mL) ($8.40): I received this in Medium Beige and am not sure if everyone received the same or if different shades were sent out. The coverage is amazing, and a little certainly does go a long way!
~Baby Foot Original Exfoliant Foot Peel ($25): Baby Foot! While gross, this was the #1 reason I went for this box. Use these booties, and in about two weeks your skin really will be baby soft. Make sure to follow the directions exactly (soak your feet first) and be prepared for gross peeling skin for about a week, but it’s totally worth it!
~dr. brandt microdermabrasion age-defying exfoliator (7.5mL) ($9.88): Dullness and uneven texture, fine lines and wrinkles and blemishes all will be a thing of the past with this! I have had great luck using it in the past and plan to incorporate it into my routine once every two-three days from now on.
~Foster Grant Sunglasses ($20): Foster Grant sunglasses range in price from $20 to $30, so I used the more conservative $20 figure here. The aviator style is exactly what I would pick out for myself, and I am looking forward to a sunny day in MI so I can wear these.
~Go Smile Teeth Whitening Gel (0.5oz) ($4.26): I am all about having whiter teeth lately, so this is a score! The sample *should* be big enough to tell if it works for me or not and that’s a big reason I love subscription / sample boxes. You can try products and see if you love them before spending money in the full-size. This is supposed to whiten up to 10x better than the leading whitening toothpaste, and you use it along with your normal toothpaste while brushing. Easy enough!
~Julep Take a Breather Nail Oxygen Treatment ($18): Take a Breather delivers 30% more oxygen to your nail beds for stronger, healthier nails. It reduces peeling, splitting and breakage and only takes about two weeks to use it!
~Michael Todd Beauty Charcoal Detox (10mL) ($1.13): Ohhh, fantastic! It’s ideal for oily and blemish prone skin types which is very much me right now. It’s suitable for daily use and is formulated without:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Artificial Dyes
- Synthetic Fragrance
- Phthalates
- Triclosan
- Mineral Oil
~Mission On-The-Go Cooling Towel ($9.99): I have been wanting one of these! It cools instantly when wet and which will be fantastic for working out (at home and in spin class).
~Murad Oil-Control Mattifier SPF15 \ PA++ (10mL) ($7.76):
~nugg FACE MASK hydrating ($3.99): I have always loved nugg single-use masks. I tend to overuse product, and this helps make sure I don’t do that!
~Primal Elements Glycerin Soap ($9): The label says this is a travel-size, but there is no way! This is a full-size bar for sure. It contains over 25% vegetable glycerin and is made in small batches. The scent is fresh and minty – perfect for winter.
~Rustic Cuff Travel Tin Candle (Crimson Currant) (~$10): This is another price estimate. It’s a small candle, but it packs a punch! Now that the weather is cooling down I have been burning candles more often. I use travel candles mainly in my guest bathroom and not typically for traveling.
~Sigma Beauty Mini E65 Small Angle Brush (~$7.50): The Mini Brush looks to be about half the size of the standard angle brush. Best suited for liners, but also works for turning shadows into liners!
~Sockart – 4 Pack ($16): This is shaping up to be the fall/winter perfect box! I forgot to take a picture of all four pairs before wearing them, so I included a stock picture below. These will come in very handy when your feet start to peel from the Baby Foot!
~SpaLife Face Wraps Cucumber & Aloe ($3.75): Face Wraps are a little different than your standard sheet mask. These are to be stored in the refrigerator and then placed in warm water for 2-3 before use. It’s supposed to be hydrating and soothing, and I am thinking about saving mine until the craziness of the holiday season kicks in.
~Spruce & Co. Screen Cleaning Wipe ($0.79): My computer screen/keyboard was a complete mess, so I was thrilled to see this. It’s not something I buy on my own, but probably something I should!
~Tattly Pastel Blooms Temporary Tattoos by Helen Dealtry ($2.50): Totally gorgeous, but I am not sure what I will do with it. Does anyone have any creative temporary tattoo ideas (other than using it on your skin)?
~TokyoMilk Dark – Pretty Rotten Perfume (~$5): Pretty Rotten isn’t rotten, but it is pretty strong! It has notes of Ambrosia Apple, Amber Queen Rose, Mandarin and Forest Greens. That makes it sound fruit / floral, but I found it to be much deeper than that?
~Vita Liberata Body Blur (7mL) ($3.15): Body Blur is like an Instagram filter for real life. My box included the Medium Latte shade, which I liked, but I would probably get the Light Latte for winter months. The Sephora sale is coming up soon, and this just may be on my list.
