GlobeIn has two box themes this month – Serve and Snug. This review is on “Serve.”
The November 2017 GlobeIn Artisan Box “Serve” themed box included the following items:
~Handblown Glass Pitcher, Mexico, 10″ x 4″ (Retail $30): My goodness this is gorgeous! The glass is very thick making this a heavy piece. It has a bit of texture to it and can be used as a carafe or even as a vase. So so pretty!
~Wood & Bone Condiment Bowl & Spoon, Kenya, 3.75″ diameter (Retail $17): Both pieces were hand-carved from a single piece of olive tree wood in Kenya. The black and white bone accents add to the uniqueness of these pieces. The information card suggests using them for sauces or dips, but they would also work with salts or spices.
~Block Print Table Runner, India, 80″ x 17″ (Retail $30): Shimmery and certain to dress up your holiday table! I don’t use a table runner on a regular basis, but I do love making my table fancy for the holidays. The Geometric Diamond pattern was hand printed in India using traditional techniques. Artisans are paid fair, livable wages and eco-friendly inks are used.
The November 2017 GlobeIn Artisan Box “Serve” box had a value of $77. I didn’t necessarily feel like this box fit together, but I enjoyed all the pieces individually and was happy with the value.
