ipsy Review – November 2017

Disclosure: If you make a purchase through the links posted below, I may receive a small compensation. Read the full disclosure.

December 2017 ipsy
ipsy sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products based on your ipsy profile. Their bags always have an incredible value (well over the $10 cost), and I am always amazed at how they do it. I don’t always love everything in the bags, but I always always think it was worth my $10.  They also offer a rewards system for subscribers.  You can earn points by reviewing the items you get in your bags, sharing your ipsy bag on social media, etc. You can then redeem your points for products (often items which were featured in previous months) on the ipsy website.

ipsy ships around the 10th of the month via DHL Global Mail.  Mine arrived very early this month!

ipsy bags have a ton of variation, so they don’t include product details on their information card. If you happen to stumble on this review, don’t be surprised if you end up with an entirely different bag. Specific details on the items in your bag can be found in your ipsy account online.

The November 2017 ipsy theme is “All You, ” and my Glam Bag included the following items:

~Glamour Dolls x Lisa Frank Bitten & Bronzed Matte Bronzer (5.5g) ($4.99): This bronzer looks a little dark for me, but it’s buildable, so I can work with it.  Of course, bronzer itself is nice, but the Lisa Frank packaging is for sure the best part!

~tarte deluxe Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush (Quirky) (1.5g) ($5):  No fallout in this blush at all!  It’s a powder, but it glides on like a cream.  Quirky is a light coral, almost peach color.  Very flattering!

~CODAGE PARIS Scrubbing Cream (15mL) ($13.99): This is a new (to me) brand, and I am thrilled to get it!  It has fine rice particles for optimal facial exfoliation.  It’s pretty amazing. It’s not harsh and left my skin so smooth.  I would love if this popped up again in a box!

~Bang Beauty Lp Gloss (Spice) (full-size) (3.2g) ($18): Spice is a neutral gloss, and I am obsessed. It’s uber glossy, not sticky and just gorgeous!

~Manna Kadar Cosmetics HD Perfecting Powder (2.7g) ($5.26): The HD Perfecting Powder goes on colorless and helps keep your makeup in place all day.  I don’t wear much makeup on a regular basis, but this prevents flashback and will leave you photo ready – perfect for the holidays.

~The Bag: Subscribers received this month’s bag in either teal or yellow (gold?).  I preferred the teal and was happy to see it when I opened my pink bag!

~The Swatches:

All totaled my November 2017 ipsy had a value of $47.24.  I didn’t think too much of this bag in the spoilers, but I loved it all in person! And, as usual, the value was outstanding!
