~Good morning! I think our week has finally settled down and that makes me happy! We’ve had field trips, volunteering, a PTO meeting, a Science Olympiad meeting, and B left for Korea yesterday! Never a dull moment around here. The next few days / this week, I have to work on some ornaments for my boys’ school. We have different themed trees (I am working on the book tree) and for the first time ever we are doing name ornaments for all the kids! I am so excited about this because we did this at my elementary school when I was younger and I remember how much we all loved it. We have about 700 kids at our school and we need the ornaments finished by Thanksgiving break so it’ll be a bit of a project, but totally worth it!
~My mom and I went and checked out a cute (newish) little shop (Birch & Arrow) in our area the other day too. It’s similiar to The Found Cottage / Magnolia Market, but on a much smaller scale. I picked up a Christmas sign that was made out of an old kitchen cabinet, some cotton stems and a cute little sleigh candle holder.
~In case you missed it Monday, it’s Secret Santa time! If you are interested in participating you can sign up and get all of the details here. There is also a Facebook group to share ideas / pictures, etc. but if you don’t have Facebook or don’t want to join, no big deal at all!
That’s it from here! Have a great weekend!
