The December 2017 BOXYCHARM theme is “Glitz & Glam” and included the following items:
~blush palette by Real Her ($32): This buildable set includes three shades – Fearless, Limitless and Unstoppable. The colors are buildable and perfect for everyday use.
~Tarte Tarteist Lash Paint Mascara ($23): I have used this mascara in the past and have had good luck with it. I have eyelash extensions now, so I don’t need mascara, but the short bristles on here are great for getting the lashes in the corners of your eyes!
~Makeup Geek Showstopper Creme Stain ($12): Long-lasting and pretty, but matte shades are typically a miss for me. I am more of a gloss girl!
~Vintage Cosmetics Illuminating Face Highlighter ($32): This can be worn alone or over a blush. It gave my skin a nice “glow” without being too much.
~Beaute Basics Bronze Essentials ($39.95): I am a little confused by this because I thought everyone would be receiving a Crown WH035 PRO BLUSH BRUSH and then ONE of the following: Beaute Basics Bronze Essentials OR bellapierra Color Correcting Palette OR Vintage Cosmetics Illuminating Face Highlighter. Instead, I received the Bronze Essentials and the Face Highlighter. I am okay with the bronzer (I couldn’t get great swatch pictures though) as I think it will be handy to get the sun-kissed look come Spring / Summer/

All totaled I came up with a value of $138.95 for the December 2017 BOXYCHARM. That’s clearly an outstanding value, but I feel like it was too heavy on face makeup items?
