GlobeIn has two box themes this month – Play and Cheers. This review is on “Play.”
The December 2017 GlobeIn Artisan Box “Play” themed box included the following items:
1) Wooden Mini Puzzle, India, 4″ x 4″ (Retail $20): This puzzle is handcrafted out of rosewood and mango wood. It’s absolutely gorgeous, and we all loved playing with it and trying to get it back together. The package does come with a “cheat sheet,” so no worries if you get stuck!
2) Rosewood Dice With Pouch – Set of 4, India (Retail $12): These are hand-carved from rosewood in Northern India. I thought the puzzle was a work of art and these are as well. Stunning!
3) Wooden Spinning Top, India, 2.25″ x 2.5″ (Retail $10): It’s hard to tell in my picture, but the top is actually spinning! It’s easy to spin and, better yet, stays spinning for a long time. A very long time!
4) Sketch Book (Assorted Colors), India, 4″ x 6″ (Retail $12): GlobeIn sent out an assortment of colors/patterns, but I couldn’t be happier with this one. It’s made out “tree-free paper,” which makes it very eco-friendly. The 100% cotton paper itself is softer than traditional paper, which makes this a unique piece and a great gift.
5) Gift Tags – Set of 4 (Assorted), India (Retail $6): These tags are made by artisans in Rajasthan, India. They are solid on the back, so you don’t have to spoil the gorgeous paper. They would also make great tree ornaments.
6) Mini Palm Leaf Basket (Retail $8): The final item in the box was a mini palm leaf basket. They are handmade in Oaxaca, Mexico and are great for storage.
All totaled the December 2017 Play GlobeIn Artisan Box had a value of $104. Outstanding value this month and just a fun overall box.
