GLOSSYBOX Review + Coupon Code - December 2017
GLOSSYBOX is a monthly beauty subscription box and includes five (sometimes more) luxury surprise beauty items shipped to your door.

GLOSSYBOX
Cost: $21/month.
Ships To: United States.
Coupon Code: See Below.
Disclosure: This complimentary box was received for review purposes. All opinions are my own, and no compensation was received.

GLOSSYBOX ships via USPS and generally boxes ship in the second half of the month. Sometimes it’s the last week of the month; sometimes it’s closer to the beginning of the month.

GLOSSYBOX was recently purchased by The Hut Group, who also owns SkinStore, lookfantastic and IWOOT.  The purchase was a few months ago (August), but we are just starting to see changes to the box.  I don’t believe there are large box variations anymore and there was recently a website redesign.  I think the changes have been for the better and an anxious to see what else the new ownership brings.

My December 2017 GLOSSYBOX included the following:

~Makeup Drop Original ($20): The Makeup Drop is like a Beautyblender, but different.  It’s silicone, so unlike a sponge applicator, it’s not going to soak up any of your product – it eliminates waste completely.    This takes a little getting used to (don’t apply as much as you normally would put on your blending sponge), but I do love it. Makeup goes on so smoothly and evenly.

~Show Beauty Riche Grooming Balm (5.1fl.oz) ($45): Grooming balm is a hydrating and conditioning formula that works to repair dry ends, deliver a smooth, soft finish and leave a long-lasting shine.  It’s to be applied to damp hair and doesn’t need to be rinsed out.  I have lots of flyways, but this easily smoothed them without weighing my hair down and added a nice amount of shine.

~Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist (1fl.oz) ($30):  Queen of Hungary Mist is a neroli and rose-scented face mist designed to refresh the skin.  It’s not something I need to use, but I certainly enjoyed it.  It’s very refreshing and leaves your skin hydrated, but not dripping wet.

~Laura Geller Easy Illuminating Stick (Ethereal) ($13): Wow!  This is 100% better in person, and I think it looks pretty darn good in the swatch, so that’s saying something.  It’s smooth and creamy and easy to use.  So pretty.

~Beauty for Real I-Line 24-7 Eyeliner (Platinum Blonde) ($14): The final item in the box is a waterproof eyeliner in “platinum blonde.” I don’t wear eyeliner on a regular basis (basically I never wear it), but even I was excited to see this.  The color is beautiful and so fun for holiday parties.

~Swatches:

All totaled the December 2017 GLOSSYBOX had a value of $122. Incredible. GLOSSYBOX really stepped up their box values this month, and I can only hope it continues.

Did you get the December 2017 GLOSSYBOX?  What variations did you get and what did you think?
