Based on my profile answers, ArmourBox sent me a box “stacked with everything you need to run.”  I have been really into running lately, so this was pretty perfect.

Under Armour ArmourBox Review - January 2018

My January 2018 ArmourBox included the following items:

~Women’s ColdGear Reactor Leggings (MSPR: $79.99, Box Cost: $59.99): These leggings are currently on sale at Under Armour for $59.99, and I was thrilled to see that they used the sale price as my “cost to keep” price (and then I would still get the 20% off keep all discount on top of that).  Subscription boxes don’t always do this, and I love that UA does!  The leggings themselves are fantastic.  They are compression leggings (86% Polyester/14% Elastane), so they suck you in and smooth places that need smoothing, but they are still thin and comfortable.  The ColdGear fabric adapts to your activity level for the right breathability & warmth.  So these will work as a base layer outside or for running on the treadmill.  They fit a little long on me (they have a 27.5 inseam), but pretty much everything does, so that’s fine.

~Women’s UA Charged Bandit 3 Running Shoes (MSRP: $99.99, Box Cost: $79.99): Again these are on sale right now for $79.99, so that’s my box price.  Truth be told, I went for this box this month for the shoes.  The (now closed) adidas Avenue A box spoiled me with fresh shoes quarterly, and I am in need of a new pair.  This box did not disappoint!  I love the ombre look, and they are SO comfortable.  They also come with a second pair of laces so you can change up your look.  They have great cushioning, and I cannot wait to run in them (did I really just say that?  Who am I??).

~Women’s Under Armour Mid Sports Bra (MSRP / Box Price: $24.99): According to the website this bra is tailored towards medium-impact activities like cycling, weight training & boxing, but I would 100% run in it.  It’s comfortable and while the white is just “meh” (note: you can swap for different colors / sizes), no one is going to see it anyway, so it doesn’t even matter.

~Women’s UA Threadborne Twist 1/2 Zip (MSRP: $49.99, Box Price: $37.49):  I checked out the reviews online, and people seemed to think it ran a little small.  I found it to be true-to-size.  The material (100% polyester) is super soft, but also on the thinner side.  I am wearing the above sports bra with it, and you can see right thru it.  I wear a tank under pretty much everything, so this isn’t an issue for me.  I want to start running outside this Spring, and this looks like it’ll be a great laying piece.  Of course, I will wear it as an athleisure piece as well.

~Women’s UA Swyft Short Sleeve (MSRP / Box Price: $40): This is the only piece in the box that is a true miss for me.  I thought that the t-shirt ran small and I just felt awkward in it.  The shirt is fairly sheer, and the back has jacquard detailing which makes it even sheerer. The sleeves would both me when working out too (I prefer tanks).  I am going to update my profile to note no workout t-shirts and no white tops.

If I keep all of the pieces, the box would cost $205.60.  I am for sure keeping the shoes, the leggings and the 1/2 Zip top, which brings my total to $188.12 (including tax).  I should *probably* just keep everything in here to get the discount because I would use the sports bra if it were here.  I just need to figure out what to do with that top!

Have you tried ArmourBox? If so, what did you think?  And if you were me, which pieces would you keep from this box?

Spread the love

Adidas left me rotten spoiled for life hehehehe, so now I miss having new shoes all the time ?
I like this box but since I am changing size I think it would be better to wait until I am sure about the sizes in clothing.
Macys had a pretty good sale on under armor tennis shoes and the prices were amazing, So I bought a pair (and a couple of the next number for one of my kids) so it will hold my need until april at least ?
BTW, these were my first under armor shoes, I tried them with weight trainning and strike and I really like them, I still need to try them on running though.

OMG I know. My husband was like why do you need more shoes? I’m like well, adidas used to send them quarterly…..

I am glad you hear you liked these shoes. They are my first UA ones!

I think I may swap the shirt and the bra for different colors and then keep the entire box. Hopefully I don’t like it all every month. LOL!
