The January 2018 BeautyFIX included the following items:
~Avène RetrinAL 0.1 Intensive Cream (1.01 fl. oz) ($70): This cream visibly reduces the appearance of wrinkles to shave years off of your appearance. It’s designed for all skin types and contains relastide, which is a pro-elastin peptide that fills in wrinkles and fine lines to tone and firm skin. It’s on the pricey side for sure, but the reviews are great. I already use a retinol serum, so I am going to alternate during the week between the two.
~Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Miracle Multiplying Volume Mist (1.4 oz) ($8.75): Hands down the best volume mist I have ever used. I am obsessed with this. It makes my hair look and feel thick, it smells good, and it leaves my hair shiny. Seriously, the best.
~YUNI Shower Sheet ($1.25): This shower sheet is great for times when you need a quick refresh, but just don’t have the time/option for a shower. This wouldn’t be enough (for me anyway) after a spin class, but it’ll work after an ab session that I think isn’t going to make me sweat, but totally does ;).
~Dermstore Lip Quench ($12): A hydrating clear gloss. It’s not sticky, smells good and made my lips look great! A total win!
~Jouer Highlighter (Tiare) (~$5): This highlighter not only compliments your skin but will also boost the health of your complexion over time. Tiare is a shimmering gold that is universally flattering, blendable, buildable formula.
~SkinMedica Dermal Repair Cream (0.13oz) ($9.86): The dermal repair cream firms and defends climate-stressed skin. It’s ultra-hydrating and, for me, would make a great neck cream.
~SKIN & CO ROMA Truffle Therapy Serum (5mL) ($11.90): This truffle serum has an “advanced antioxidant-rich formula infused with active botanicals that penetrate deep to restore a youthful and radiant complexion.” I have a great serum (a few actually) that I am using now, but will toss this in my travel bag just in case!
All totaled the January 2018 BeautyFIX had a value of $118.76. I LOVED this box. Probably one of my favorite BeautyFIX boxes to date. The first two items (Avène RetrinAL 0.1 Intensive Cream and the Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Miracle Multiplying Volume Mist) make the box. Everything else was just icing on the cake for me.
