The January 2018 BOXYCHARM theme is “ROCK 2018” and included the following items:
~IT CosmeticsBrow Power™ Universal Eyebrow Pencil ($24): I am normally pretty meh about getting brow products in subscription boxes, but I am pretty pumped for this. It looks natural and is easy to use. After years of overplucking, I have realized that there are just some hairs that won’t be growing back!
~DR. BRANDT SKINCARE pores no more® Luminizer Primer ($38): This primer smooths your skin and creates a great canvas for makeup application. I use mine before BB cream and also alone. It gives me a nice glow and a smooth look for nominal effort, and that is exactly what I need some days!
~Crown Pro Color Glam Metals Eyeshadow Palette ($29.99): Gorgeous colors! I love the metallics, and it’s even more fun that you can use them wet or dry! The pigmentation is fantastic, and all the shades are very easy to blend. BOXYCHARM has said they will be including lots of palettes in 2018 and I think we’re off to a good start.
~PUR Bronze & Brighten Cheek Palette ($34): This palette contains three shades – “Afterglow,” “Mineral Glow” and the new “Blushing Glow”. These are BOLD and, honestly, I’m not even sure where, to begin with, them! I am going to need to hunt down some YouTube videos.
~girlactik Matte Lip Paint ($23): The color is pretty enough, but to be real, I was hoping for the lip plumper. I prefer a glossy lip on me, so I will pass this one along to my sister-in-law.
All totaled I came up with a value of $148.99 for the January 2018 BOXYCHARM. The brow powder alone made this box worth it, and that was almost the lowest value item in here. BOXYCHARM always puts together boxes with incredible values, and I am always amazed!
