Stitch Fix is a personal styling service for women. With Stitch Fix, you provide your style, size (they also do maternity fixes), and budget preferences, and they will send you a package of stylish goodies to try on at home. You only pay for the items you love and decide to keep. There is a $20 styling fee which is applied to your order should you decide to keep any / all of the pieces. If you don’t keep anything, you don’t receive a refund of the fee. If you keep all of the pieces, you get a 25% discount on everything! Stitch Fix is now offering exchanges for sizing as well. Also, I should mention that you are only charged once you “check out” at Stitch Fix. You have a few days to try everything on, and the box comes with a bag and a prepaid USPS return label so you can easily ship back the pieces you aren’t interested in.

My January 2018 Stitch Fix (Fix #53) included the following items:
~good hYOUman Brooke Printed Ruched Detail Legging ($68): I like these leggings well enough, but once I saw the price I knew they were going back. They aren’t a workout legging, and really no one would see the ruching on these because I’d be wearing them with boots. I did appreciate the thick’ish waistband and thought they were flattering enough. Verdict: Returned.
~Mix by 41Hawthorn Mcormick Side Detail Knit Top ($34): This looked pretty good in the box. And then I tried it on. It’s a great material, thin and super soft, but it clings in all the wrong places. I wasn’t a fan of the scoop neck and long length either. I think it would have worked better as a cowl neck or a v-neck. Or as a scoop neck, but not as long. Verdict: Returned.
~41Hawthorn Roma Textured Striped Pullover ($78): I love this, but I don’t love the price so much. It’s a chunky, thick sweater and felt so cozy right when I put it on. I like the stripes, the color, the texture around the shoulders, just everything. I also liked the length of this. Perfect with leggings! Verdict: Undecided.
~Mix by 41Hawthorn Tarlio Mixed Material Cowl Neck Knit Top ($44): This top was so promising until I unfolded it. I don’t know what is happening with the material on the bottom, but the way it hung on me made it seem like I had an apron on. I waitressed for years and was looking for the pockets on that bottom section to keep my order pad and pen in. I loved everything else about it though. It’s soft, the price is right, and I love the cowl neck! Verdict: Returned.
~MPG Sport Amabella Knit Sleeve Athlesire Jacket ($118): I half love this and half wonder when I would ever wear it. I’m not exactly sure if it’s an outdoor jacket or one that works as part of your everyday outfit? I loved the big hood and thought that it was very flattering. The body is almost a puffer material, and the sides/sleeves are a thinner stretchy material. I need to figure out when / how I would wear this before I decide if it’s a keeper or not. Verdict: Undecided.

For the first time I posted my Stitch Fix to my Instagram and took a poll on which items I should keep and which I should send back. I LOVED seeing all of your votes and plan to keep this up. If you are curious, here are how the votes went down for each piece.
I am either going to keep the cozy sweater or the jacket from this fix. In the box, it seemed like it might be a 5/5 Fix, but after trying everything on that was not the case. I always mention it, but as long as I keep one item from my Fix (and don’t lose my styling fee) I am happy!
