Birchbox reveals the contents of their limited edition boxes in advance, but they are still quite fun to open.

The Birchbox Limited Edition: Sweet Beauty Treats Box included the following items:

~Laura Geller New York Iconic New York Collection Downtown Cool Eye Shadows (Travel-Size) ($10.50): These blendable shadows are gorgeous and very wearable!  They are highly pigmented, so you can build up to a shade that’s perfect for you.

~Wander Beauty Unlashed Volume and Curl Mascara (Full-Size) ($24): I have lash extensions (I don’t wear mascara), so I didn’t have a chance to test this out.  It gets great reviews on Birchbox and doesn’t seem too “thick” which is important to me in a mascara.

~Pink Sugar Eau de Toilette Rollerball (Travel-Size) ($20): Pink Sugar is my all-time favorite perfume. I cannot get enough of it. It smells sweet as sugar with notes of cotton candy, raspberry, and vanilla. I have been wearing it on and off for 15+ years, and I still love it.

~Lipstick Queen Medieval Tinted Lipstick Treatment (Full-Size) ($24):  This lipstick looked very scary to me when I opened it, but it’s actually a gorgeous berry shade.  It’s very hydrating and is one lipstick I will be keeping for myself.

~Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Matte Bronzing Powder Mini (Travel-Size) ($14.50): For some reason when I think of bronzers, I think of Benefit.  This bronzer has been around for ages and is easy to use.  It blends easily and gives you a true tan color – nothing orange or fake looking.

~AERIN Rose Hand & Body Cream (Travel-Size) ($9.52): I like this because it has a true rose scent. It’s not overpowering.  Just a fabulous floral scent.  My hands were left feeling silky smooth and not

~sugarfina Sugar Lips® – 1 Cube &  sugarfina Royal Roses – 1 Cube ($18): Candy!  Receiving Sugarfina candy always feels like such a treat, and it’s also quite delicious.  I know the roses, and the lips had different flavors in each box, but we ate then so quickly we couldn’t tell you which was our favorite.

~The Bouqs Co. $40 Voucher: The box also included a $40 voucher to The Bouqs. You have to pick from a preselected group of flowers which start at $60.  That was a tad disappointing, but I found a gorgeous bouq for Valentine’s Day.  I am NOT going to include this in the value of the box though because you do have to spend money to use it.

~Swatches:

All totaled I came up with a value of $121 for the Birchbox Limited Edition: Sweet Beauty Treats Box. They promise a value of $170, but I didn’t include the value of The Bouqs voucher in there because, again, you do have to spend money to use it.  I personally loved this box and thought it was so worth it!
