MondayMorningRamblings-1024x1010-1

~Good morning! Sorry for being MIA around here last week. We were out of town and I always feel weird posting that I am out of town on the internet! It was winter break for the boys (they had the week off school), so B and I thought it would be a good time to sneak in a little Vegas trip (it’s easier for my mom to watch them without having to deal with all their school stuff). And then instead of just watching the boys for a few days, my parents decide to take them to Legoland and Disney! How lucky are they?? But we are all back now and ready to face this week!

~The boys started at Legoland and then moved on to Disney World. We’ve never been to Legoland before and they all really liked it. It’s more for younger kids it seems like, so it’s probably best we didn’t wait too much longer. They stayed at the Legoland Resort and went into the park two days. And then Disney! This time they stayed at Ft. Wilderness Resort. We used to stay there when I was a kid, but lately we’ve been staying at Art of Animation. From the sounds of it, it’ll be Ft. Wilderness from now on. They all loved it! Thanks Nana & Papa!!!

~As for us, we stayed at MGM Grand (we are Rewards Members and always get free offers in the mail).  Our trip was a lot of eating (A LOT), a lot of drinking, a lot of walking and a lot of gambling!  So much food.  Everyone recommended Giada’s at the Cromwell, which was excellent!  We also tried eggslut and then of course hit up In-n-Out, Sprinkles and a few other random places.  It was COLD in Vegas, but it’s cold in Michigan too, so no big deal.

~I posted about my Bouqs V-Day flowers (that I picked up using the gift card that came in that Birchbox Limited Edition Box) on Instagram, but thought I’d share here too.  They looked nothing like the pictures online (they are no longer avaliable, but had roses and greenery and succulants) and the roses were already brown.  After a little back and forth with them, they issued me a credit for the cost of the flowers and I ordered tulips. They are perfect!

That’s it from here.  Have a great week!
