Stitch Fix is a personal styling service for women. With Stitch Fix, you provide your style, size (they also do maternity fixes), and budget preferences, and they will send you a package of stylish goodies to try on at home. You only pay for the items you love and decide to keep. There is a $20 styling fee which is applied to your order should you decide to keep any / all of the pieces. If you don’t keep anything, you don’t receive a refund of the fee. If you keep all of the pieces, you get a 25% discount on everything! Stitch Fix is now offering exchanges for sizing as well. Also, I should mention that you are only charged once you “check out” at Stitch Fix. You have a few days to try everything on, and the box comes with a bag and a prepaid USPS return label so you can easily ship back the pieces you aren’t interested in.

I don’t do the best job of filling out my checkout form and reviewing the pieces I get, but I do have my Stitch Fix blog reviews linked in my profile which I think helps a lot.
My February 2018 Stitch Fix (Fix #54) included the following items:
~Pink Clover Hatched Mixed Print Knit Top ($46): This shirt was very comfortable, but not my style at all. I like the elbow patches, but I am not into the mixed prints. It also felt (and looked) boxy. I am not sure if a smaller size would have helped with that, but since I wasn’t a fan of the print, it didn’t matter. Verdict: Returned.
Note: I think the Stitch Fix printer was running out of colored ink when they printed my style cards.
~Pink Clover Shenaya Knit Top ($40): I love this! It’s 100% me, super comfortable and I thought the fit was perfect. It even has pockets! Verdict: Kept.
~ID: 23 Carrie Distressed Girlfriend Jean ($68): These were a miss for me as well. They run big – so big that I didn’t even need to button/unbutton them to get them on and off. I’m not much for rolled jeans either. I did love the distressed look and wash of these though! Verdict: Returned.
~Flag & Anthem Quinley Double Faced Button-Down ($58): Another miss. Button-downs are don’t fit me correctly, and this one was no exception. It was tight in the arms and chest and big everywhere else. I also didn’t love the print or the material (it’s not quite flannel, but not thin cotton either). The “buttons” were actually snaps and seemed pretty “tough,” but I know I would still be scared one would pop open. Verdict: Returned.
~SeaVees Monterey Canvas Lace-Up Sneakers ($68): These are probably the biggest miss of my box. Just not me at all. I don’t wear sneakers unless I am working out and I definitely cannot pull-off yellow ones. In fact, I don’t think I can pull off anything yellow/mustard. I also felt like these ran about 1/2 size too big. Verdict: Returned.
This month’s Stitch Fix was mainly a miss, but I did get one piece I loved, so it wasn’t a total loss. I am going to do some profile tweaking and go hope for a better fix next month!
